Even as a fan, I think it's much more exciting. I don't know why but when I've been listening to a single for quite some time before an album drops, it kinda feels out of place.

I mean Speak Now is already one of her best albums so to get it again with her improved vocals will be an absolute collapse, no doubt about it.

I’m perfectly fine with her not releasing anything ahead of the album (and I don’t think she will anyway) but if she were to next Friday I feel like Enchanted would be a good choice just to snatch one week at the top and then push a vault track throughout release week since we’re probably not getting any kind of promotion beyond that.

 

I’m obviously happy that Cruel Summer is smashing and that Karma is doing well, and I get that we were probably never going to get a real single for this anyhow but Speak Now TV deserves to have its own spotlight. No real complaints though, Taylor is just too successful, her own eras come back on a whim

Fearless TV is excellent. Red TV is a bit of a mixed bag but the vault tracks really make up for it

 

That said, Speak Now's strongest points are lyrics and melody so it's impossible for her to mess this up. Thoughts and prayers for the puta stans though
