with ~90k signed CDs (like 'RED TV'), this would've done ~800k. :bloo:

We need her to go all out for '1989 TV', cause that's probably the only one of the remaining three TVs with a shot at a 1M debut week. :jonny5:

And multiple covers for 1989 TV.

the big question is whether it also applies to digital sales since the length of the album is over 100 minutes.

No,  just physical copies.

Nah, both 1989 and Reputation will do similar numbers. Unless she wants to promote either like a proper era I don't see it happening and knowing Taylor, she'll probably release a new studio album before dropping 1989.

It is mind-blowing to see her debuting with such numbers though. You can just tell how she successfully managed to captivate a whole new generation the same she did with us back in the 10s.

Maroon is easily the best song on Midnights (full version).

But do you have a source that says that?

So, yeah, that’s the page that I’ve been referencing for multi-disc set requirements, but it’s not exactly 100% clear. I suppose we can lean toward the assumption that only physical sales are certifiable as multi-disc sets given the language of “package,” since digital albums don’t often have a physical package, but I’d really like it if we had a clearer explanation or a useful example.

I still prefer RED TV because of the exquisite vault tracks and ATW10mins, but speak now TV is also a collapse. The enhancement of so many of the original tracks with her new vocal are just… :chick2: Electric touch and castles crumbling are top notch songs too.

But what would you do if I went to touch you now?
What would you do if they never found us out?
What would you do if we never made a sound?

:katie2:

This part is like crack.

Foolish Ones is underrated. Those lyrics could cut glass :giraffe:

Where's the Enchanted music video Taylor?!

The RIAA rules discussion is so useful, with Taylor never updated anything to what its eligible for. Even the stuff she owns

Been thinking about who will probably feature on the remaining 3 TVs. I think 1989 and Reputation will be the most interesting, feature wise, just because it could either be really good or really bad. I particularly think Reputation could be... Interesting, if the vault tracks lean closer to the "trap" influenced stuff or the more intimate tracks (and if she's gonna put IDWLF on it). I have a feeling 1989 will just be 2/3 big pop stars who will randomly stick out on the track.

I could see Selena Gomez, Charli XCX, and/or Lorde (are they still friends?) on 1989. And you all may think I'm crazy, but I could see a Nicki Minaj feature on Reputation.

The way I hate it so much :deadbanana2: it’s a simple form and probably some dumb fee and paperwork, like just make a Republic intern handle it

SHE'S better known for the THINGS that she does, but the fact is :jamming:

I can see you up against the wall with me :jonny: will forever be jealous that she was getting dicked DOWN by Mr. Lautner in 2009 :jonny6:

Finally got to listen to this. My first time ever listening to Speak Now. The standard track list is AMAZING :jonny: Such an eclectic mix of country pop jams, pop rock tracks, and contemplative ballads. Just an all around great album. The only songs I didn’t like were DJ and Innocent. They’re a bit dull, sorry.

The vault tracks? Yeah… you can tell these are outtakes :skull: I use WEFIL and ICSY and that’s about it. Timeless may grow on me with a few more listens, but I’m not a fan of anything else. ET would be good if that guy wasn’t on there.

Also NGU made me cry. It may rival SYGB as her saddest song ever.

Well... there's a line in WCS that leads me to believe this, and He was chronologically after Mr. Lautner
