Taylor boasts a further five LPs in this week’s Top 40: 2022’s Midnights (9), 2014’s 1989 (10), 2019 release Lover (12), 2017’s Reputation (21) and 2020 LP folklore (25).

1989 back in the top 10

So after a week my vault tracks ranking is:

1. Castle's Crumbling

2. I Can See You

3. When Emma Falls In Love

4. Foolish One

5. Timeless

6. Electric Touch

There's nothing as good as Forever Winter but also nothing as meh as Run. Electric Touch is my least favorite and I still love that chorus

Reminder that she lied to us when she said that the re-recordings will have music videos for fan-favorites.

How could we have loved I Can See You from the vault?

Nnnn the way she has kinda lied about this so far. The only video we’ve gotten is ATW10, but the original song was already a fan and critic fave so of course they were gonna push it, so that’s kind of the easy way out. :rip:

Better give us a video for deep cut fan fave on the next one Blondie :fish2:

I still can't fathom that this woman is able to make people buy her albums in droves even when she releases them so close to each other :rip: like a million week and a 700k week in the span of 8 months is insane

It shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that an album with Mine, Sparks Fly, Back To December, Speak Now, Dear John, Enchanted, Better Than Revenge, Haunted, Last Kiss, Long Live, Ours, Electric Touch, I Can See You, Castles Crumbling, Foolish Ones and Timeless can be superior to the already exquisite Red. :WAP:

Mine, Sparks Fly, December, Better Than Revenge, Haunted, Innocent, Electric Touch, Emma, and I Can See You have been slaying me all week. We need more of Rock Taylor

The production fits so well sonically with the original album tracks. I also love the nods to the original album tracks and to Treacherous!

“I got a history of stories ending sadly” - Story Of Us

”I got a feeling your electric touch” - Sparks Fly

”I’ve been left in the rain lost and pining” - Sparks Fly “meet me in the pouring rain”

”could fill this ghost town up with life” - Haunted and Ours

”and maybe I could call you mine” - Mine, and she also references a phrase of “mine” in Back To December and Ours.

“still hoping that the fire wont burn me” - Dear John “cause you burned them out but I took your matches before fire could catch me”

“And I see 2 headlights” - Treacherous “Two headlights shine through the sleepless nights”

If she didn't give Enchanted a video lord knows if anything else will get one. Maybe GC but even that isn't as much of a fan favorite as Enchanted

I gotta admit, Foolish One grew on me A LOT, it's so good :WAP:
