Taylor Swift - 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'

Considering she made a point of shamelessly retconning If This Was a Movie into a Fearless track, it seems super unlikely that we're going to get any editions of Speak Now with anything that isn't written strictly solo. I wouldn't exactly be shocked if she had something up her sleeve to give it a better second week than usual, since it seems like it has a chance to remain #1, but it's more likely to be something like signed copies (praying for you @1989!).

I think I’m just thirsty for more since Red TV had 9 vault tracks and the 2 additionally sound tracks. Even though 3 of the vault tracks were kinda just like bonuses being the Little Big Town, Sugarland, and ATW10 version. The Red era was iconic! I’m not asking for new music even, just more re-recording she self wrote would send me to my grave lmao :dancehall:

Anybody knows who the source is? If it's 640k with one day left this is not reaching 700k

I'd guess their source is Luminate or someone with access to Luminate data, though there's like a tiny chance it could be Alpha Data if they're still around. It can probably still reach roughly 700k with the digital deluxe. Without that, she would have hit around 670k or so if this figure is correct, maybe a little more (she would have moved ~30k-ish the last two days since it was at 575k after 4 days).

Billboard first said 400k pure and 175k SEA/TEA in 4 days.

Now it's 450k pure and 190k SEA/TEA in 6 days.

30k digital albums in 10 hours seems a lot. We'll see, but now I think it'll be closer to 680k.

Its streams fell quite a bit in the last few days so I doubt it'll make it to 700k even with that deluxe thing

I ended up buying the digital deluxe lmao. The Lord owns my bank account. :chick1:

It might miss out on 700k by a little in the end, but the real headline here is that it's confirmed that Speak Now snatched Red, and even as a Red stan I find that pretty cool :gaycat3:

I wonder if the tour might help prop this one up even better than Red TV held up on the charts, at least for a little while. It should be interesting to eventually look back and see how close they are in total units.

Another week, another record for the woman who has the world enchanted right now. Taylor Swift lands at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), marking the first time since the ARIA Charts started in 1983 that a singer or band has replaced themselves at #1.

15/22 of the SNTV tracks are charting, including 5/6 of the vault tracks with Timeless being the one missing. Never Grow Up, Innocent, Last Kiss, Long Live, Ours and Superman are the missing album tracks.

Australia really let us down for the lack of Timeless, Last Kiss and Long Live stanning.

Reminder that she lied to us when she said that the re-recordings will have music videos for fan-favorites.

How could we have loved I Can See You from the vault?

I hate this song. I mean it's ok, but it's so not Speak Now in any shape or form. Don't get the decision behind giving it a video treatment. It's too dated to become a hit, it's too basic to represent the album. Timeless was right there if she wanted to use a vault song. Could showcase her songwriting. Enchanted was a fan favourite desperate for wider recognition. Sparks Fly could have been a cute little hit too. Like...
