Because they don't understand that what HITSDD always underestimates are the pure sales. Maybe she did -30/50k on streaming since their initial prediction but +80k on pure sales.

Yea I was confused as to why some were acting as if this was some new thing. She's a monster in pure and HDD has always been off with her estimates, there was no way they were going to lower estimates that was such a ridiculous claim

225k vinyl in 4 days this SMASH :johnald: and she doesn’t even have the bare minimum amount of variants other artists do. If she was as greedy as they say why is there only 1 cover and 3 colors :johnald:

Oh damn she’s smashing, 575k already means she’ll easily beat Red :WAP:

BB confirms 575k units already moved.

400k pure

225k from vinyl the remaining 175k cd/digital/cassettes in just 4 days. :WAP:

We need someone smart to do a projection of how many units this will move in the remaining 3 days. Come on @simmnfierzig :cupid:

Insane numbers, to be expected but still I'm in awe :wanda:

This is literally the only thing I've been listening to. So happy to see Foolish One getting some love, she's a perfectly crafted soft acoustic pop song :jamming:

I really do think the SN vault tracks will serve longevity in the fandom, they are just so infectious and perfect :sats:

She's beating Red? I felt like Red was huge so this is surprising, but speak now deserves. (Can she add more speak now songs to the setlist cause just ONE is sad)

she said SPEAK NOW

and we said LISTEN NOW :jonnycat:

If they could stop holding my vinyl hostage in Ferndale, MI please

This is all I’ve been streaming since release. I love this album. All the vault tracks are 10s.

She's done 125M US Spotify streams so far. That means that 75M come from Amazon + Apple Music.

63% of the streams so far come from Spotify

37% of the streams so far come from Apple Music and Amazon Music

Interesting data for the future!

Your prediction of 450K was way, way too low/unreasonable. 650-800k was the most likely based on her increase in popularity since Red TV. There was even a prediction thread where less than 600K wasn't even an option in the poll.

Too many Swifties on this board underpredicting so they can say she over-performed vs. expectations. Yes, these numbers are stratospheric but we are expecting a number like 700K at this stage. (however, yes, Midnights definitely outdid expectations by a long shot. That was herstory) It comes across as not genuine when I see Swifties saying things like "Speak Now, definitely 400K" when she has never opened an album to such low numbers with physicals available.

I wasn't trynna gag anyone I just didn't feel the level of hype that I did before Red was released (I actually still don't in terms of the GP and I'm a stan) so I expected it to open between both the TVs released so far.

Like you mention these are herstory making times, so I've no idea what to expect from these re-recordings and she genuinely keeps surprising me. I just got it wrong :giraffe:

Also as far as I'm concerned the lyric is 'fill this ghost town up with light' because it does just slightly bother me that the line before it ends with the same word. Still top tier vault track and an absolute banger :wanda:That bridge and final chorus are really something else

It just hit 81 on Metacritic. Officially another universally acclaimed certified album :gaylorcat2:

When Pitchfork comes in with a 69.

We are 5 hours from the Pitchfork review (most likely). They better not **** this up.

I think Pitchfork might give it an 80 or 79 if it gets less. But I hope for BNM obviously! It gave Speak Now OG an 82 in the retrospective review, so I can't imagine they'd give much worse considering these are the same songs... There are some downgrades, but SNTV is absolutely an upgrade overall in production and the vaults tracks are really great.

They've already given out two BNM's this week, so I doubt they will do a third. :chick3:

Red (TV) got 6 points lower than Red OG when they reviewed it. I am a little nervous.
