a 50% drop in streaming is objectively true lol.

Regardless numbers are still insane (especially in the Philippines again :deadbanana2: )

This. The numbers might still be excellent but the drop is huge. Both things can be true

Why are you confused? Taylor was slowly building her presenve outside englosphere since Lover/folklore, rereleases, good press she gained catapulated her where she is now. Once again LATAM, Europe and Asia sans Philippines is not going to stream 5 minute long ballads from 2010 :rip:  Speak Now is her 2nd most local album, and the worst selling from her first 5 albums. I do admit though, drop in US is weird.

It dropping twice as much as Red TV makes absolutely no sense. It just doesnt

And I really dont care about promo. It's Taylor Swift. People dont need promo to stream her new album on day 2.

The album isnt well received. People dont like it :chick3:

Which is weird, because its amazing

cause 66M a second day is very huge day for every new album on a first day

of course a tv is dropping more than a new album but still very impressive

are you even serious?

:rip: do you know what context is? 30 million debut would be considered enourmous for Katy Perry or Kesha but catastrophic for Bey or Tay. 66 millions (50% drop) is not good but expected.

That's what I meant, that user was saying that SN TV had great 2nd day. It is not great, it dropped 50% from its debut :rip: that's what I meant. Sorry if it came out wrong.

Looks like using the tour as a promotional tool doesn't work out after all.

She needs to go back to traditional promo with the next TV. She did it with 'Midnights' and 'RED (TV)' and the results were much better.

No, it's a total failure. She is doing +80M streams every day and debuting a re-recording with 126M streams out of sheer luck. The tour has absolutely nothing to do with her streams blowing up to the stratosphere. If only she did an interview at the Stephen Colbert show so the grandmas from Idaho could be reminded that she still exists...

ITS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY.

That means it’s LAST KISS day. #streamit

She's so huge right now she really doesn't need any promo lol. her name and the tour sell the songs. A random performance isn't going to do any difference.

Thankfully I Can See You is gonna keep this TV alive :heart2:

Aren't several songs rising in positions in her main markets like Australia, UK, Ireland and Oceania? And despire what several losers say, promo does matter. Did you forget how much she did for Midnights and RED TV? It must be a combination of what I said earlier and what you added on top of that - it just didn't click as much.

Great numbers. It's a f*cking re-recording, idk why were you all expecting more?

Some songs rose because they dropped a bit less than some of her other songs :dies:

Promo? You can't expect her to do long interviews and SNL performance in the middle of gigantic tour. She needs rest plus she is going to studio daily.

It's not that difficult to understand that when RED TV came out her latest projects were Fearless TV and Evermore (one year before) and she was doing less than 30M streams. Speak Now is coming when Midnights, Lover and 1989 are all doing more than 10M daily streams and she is doing +80M every day. There is a limited amount of time in a day and a limited amount of listeners.

I expected a drop a bit more in the same universe as Red TV :dies:

Come on it's literally an album from 12 years ago... People know these songs very well, ofc it won't do numbers like new releases on charts

And their streams were big enough that they rose or remained stable over other songs (both Tay and non-Tay). Which (for me) alligns with what I said earlier and your post - it dropped terribly in her non major markets and people did not connect with it (at first :bird:)
