If y'all haven't done so already, on Spotify switch off "normalize volume" and it makes a HUGE difference. With this enabled it makes the songs sound much more subdued, I switched it off during Haunted and was shook at how much of a difference it made

I've got my money on things going badly / Got a history of stories ending sadly" worst rhyming couplet of Her career

Be serious lol not when she rhymes car and bar in a lot of songs or when she rhymes me with me

Cinematic parallels between two of the most obviously queer sings of Her career :cries:

There is absolutely nothing queer about Emma

Not Spotify having this and Apple having that Dolby Atmos ****. It almost feels like a conspiracy against music.

Another day without Enchanted MV. I'm disgusted, appalled, sickened, and absolutely crushed.

Sure grandma, let's get you to bed

"Time breaks down your mind and body / Don't you let it touch your soul" She had no right to deliver us this MASTERPIECE. Timeless indeed.

I noticed that! But I think it means the sound recordings were just done/finished last year. It is weird though

hold on to spinning around
Confetti falls to the ground
May these memories break our fall
Will you take a moment? Promise me this
That you'll stand by me forever
But if, God forbid, fate should step in
And force us into a goodbye
If you have children some day
When they point to the pictures
Please, tell 'em my name
Tell 'em how the crowds went wild
Tell 'em how I hope they shine
Long live the walls we crashed through
I had the time of my life with you

I just really identified with it

The more I listen to Speak Now (S), the more my opinion on it evolve.

I used to see it as just a fun song. But that bridge is really golden. The image it paints is just so vivid it's incredibly chaotic and romantic. I LOVE it.

I hear the preacher say, "Speak now or forever hold your peace"
There's the silence, there's my last chance
I stand up with shaky hands, all eyes on me
Horrified looks from everyone in the room
But I'm only looking at you

Back to December and Speak Now (song) are among her best pop songs ever

it's esp nice to appreciate the sn song if you've watched the tour performance of it over and over in the past.

you get to physically see her take him faster than you can say sabotage.

On a crowded street in 1944,

and you were headed off to fight in the war,

you still would've been mine,

we would've been timeless

Don’t forget vinyls take long to produce and last year she already had midnights coming up

Why does she sound like she’s being chased down by Leona Lewis here?

Sis no ones galloping behind you! Don’t be in rush.

Midnights is sounding a bit bad with this. :skull:

I’m relistening to BTR TV. It was good all the way until the last section. She was super sassy and cutthroat in the OG. She had her heel on Camilla’s throat but she’s lacking that energy in the final chorus of the TV. :doc: i think removing that mattress line made her grow soft.

foolish one is so special. it so captures not only the person taylor was at 19/20, but also the style of writing that she really employed during that time period. like that combination of wistful romanticism and big sister advice is so specific to fearless & speak now, and it’s so special to get another addition

foolish one

for your confessions of love

he just wasn’t the one

This eat Gorgeous up in term of crush song. It portrayed exactly what it feel like to have a one side crush on someone.

She really have a sing for every situation.
