Then why can't She hit number 1 with the 1 million likes on Twitter is my question?

Well fukumean is really strong there (even Vampire couldn't go #1 against it), idk why it's that shocking

Cause they are 13 years old songs and usually a country album peak only in the top 600 while SN has 8 Songs in the top 10?

Where Is the enchanted music video?. I can believe after She made a cult track an hit in her catalog (all too well) we're gonna get only the video of a so so vault track and not the same treatment for enchanted

Does I Can See You samples YBWM pre chorus in its Bridge?

I think about this every time I hear ICSY’s bridge, like it’s really exactly the same melody

I think this is objectively her best re-recording. Fearless was a great improvement as well, but Speak Now was always the better album and had the stronger collection of songs. Too bad critics will never be unbiased and always feel like they have to fallow the narrative instead of judging the music for what it is. Fearless had the novelty and the politics of artists fighting for their own art, Red is one of the most acclaimed albums of the 2010s and had a lot of retrospective praise, even though it is the weakest one of the bunch imo. Speak Now unfortunately has the "overexposed", "we're sick of her" narrative going on, and I wouldn't be shocked if the reviews are more lukewarm because of the backlash of her dating life.

Honestly, I think Last Night - and maybe even Vampire still - will be too strong next week for that to have happened unless she’d really pushed hard. Unless Mine really shocks us when the Spotify update comes out, I guess, since she did do extremely well on Apple Music for the first day.

Mine will not hold up well enough over the week.

Its between Enchanted and I Can See You for the top debut. I'm thinking top 5 maybe. #1 does seem unlikely

Yes fukumean is very, very strong and Apple Music is still very much rap leaning. Taylor is super big there, but still much bigger on Spotify

Omg if you turn off audio normalisation on Spotify it enhances the song so much. Emma has all these new elements I didn’t hear before!

The TV is growing on me. As an OG stan, some of y’all need to understand that these rerecordings are whiplashes to us.

1989 is confirmed the next re-record to be released! As they speed off at the end of the I Can See You music video they drive under a bridge that has a sign reading “1989 TV”. :duca:

Not sure if anyone posted that in here yet.

Do we know how Red TV did? This seems better than only 10M streams more. Although RED TV had more tracks.

edit: Nevermind, that's AM, not Spotify.
