Taylor fanboy Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Remembering her first taste of critical and commercial failure. A first of many misunderstood steps by the Lord (exclusive of Loser).

Her post has more likes on IG than Midnights has till date. People are clearly excited about the album. 12 hours ago, Cruel Summer said: With two months of preorders, a new Billboard rule for bundled physical copies, and her current level of hype post-Midnights and mid-Eras Tour... I really think it'll get a million. Again. That's what I'm saying. Not to talk about how much stronger she is today in streaming compared to even just 3 years ago. Plus, this is gonna have 28 tracks, 8 more than Midnights did. 12 hours ago, Bonicap said: I don't even think there are enough physicals for that. I don't think that'll matter tbh.
BlackJesus Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 What’s the new billboard rule y’all are talking about?

Who knows tbh Also, this new Billboard rule is pretty irrelevant so I'm not sure why people are expecting a big boost from it

Bonicap Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 15 minutes ago, onewillowsilk said: I don't think that'll matter tbh. Physicals are literally the thing that makes the difference. The streaming units will be around 250K, max. 300k, and that's for sure, so the way she markets the physical copies is key. I think this album will sell more physicals than RED TV, but not enough for a million debut. We'll see, my bet is 700k.
State of Grace. Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 This will be a "new album" for many people tbh, globally of course. A huge debut is guaranteed based on the hype alone. 85M-100M debut on Spotify and 850k-900k on BB200 is what I'm guessing for now
MusicLoverDude Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 I'm really looking forward to the TV version of Innocent. That song aged so well because she wrote it in such a non-dated way that you can listen to it because at the end of the day it's about self-forgiveness and that it's never too late to turn things around. Had a very hard 2022 and several past years so making a reel to that song will be very emotional for me
Vixen Eyes Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 i ordered the CD cos i dont have enough for the vinyl. ill order the vinyl next week x
Taylor fanboy Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 We deserve pre-album singles this time. No more BS like that long waiting game (at least one week early — thanks Adele!) Red TV and the catfishing of Midnights. Sparks Fly TV NOW!

ariananext Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 I really hope the singles are Enchanted and Long Live, and she should add the latter to the setlist
Taylor fanboy Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 This Local Now discussion y’all are having is disgusting. Speak Now is a cult fave. Fearless was just TOO big. Hell even Red couldn’t outsell Fearless.
Vixen Eyes Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 15 hours ago, All Too Well said: 1-14 - Standard Tracks 15 - Ours 16 - Superman 17-22 - Vault Tracks Remember that ITWAM has been moved to Fearless TV because it has co-writers. All vault tracks will likely have no co-writers, making the rerecord purely self-written. will we not get ITWAM, Eyes Open or S&S on physical formats then?
