The fact that Biden and Trump are our most likely options for 2024 just shows how deeply flawed our election system actually is.

This is the second poll where I don't feel comfortable answering because it doesn't fit how I feel really.

 

I'm American, I'm a registered Democrat, I've voted for Democrats in every election since 2010 other than local elections where they all run non-partisan.  I am NOT voting for Biden in the primary, and very likely will be voting for Marianne even with her not having a chance to win the election.  Unfortunately, I will vote for Biden in the general unless something psychotic happens between now and then.

I included an undecided option, because I understand that a Marianne Williamson campaign is uncharted territory, and the Democratic Party doesn’t seem to be pushing any rising stars to replace Biden.

I fear that his re-election bid will be unsuccessful and the consequences will ripple throughout the world. I don’t see him inspiring enough people to vote for him. I hope I’m wrong. 
 

The only thing that he has going for him are people voting to protect various rights that are under attack right now.

Biden supporters just deflect whenever confronted with Biden’s low approval rating.

As on outsider, I would definitely prefer someone else to be President (and can they be aged 50 or something please); but I do not see anyone else I'd trust to safely beat Trump. A Trump return would be such a global destabiliser so for now I will support Biden.

As an American user who does not like Biden and does not support another run: I’m sticking to the notion that I think he still beats trump (and only trump), because trumps unpopularity in areas he has to win (suburban areas in swing states) is too much to overcome. It’s not and never will be a vote for Biden, it will be a vote against trump, and suburban voters are reliable at showing up to vote. That could be overcome by supercharged rural WWC rural turnout followed by bad urban minority turnout, so for that well have to wait and see.

Nothing has changed here. People didnt "support" Biden in 2020 but voted for him over Trump and 2024 will be the same.

2020 was MUCH different. The Covid fallout was still on people’s minds, and the Democrats pushed like no one’s business to get Biden elected. Young voters are turning on Biden, and without an energized base, a re-election becomes an uphill battle.
