This is not exclusive to Gen Z. I'm a millennial, and I witnessed some of the most disrespectful behavior from classmates towards teachers during middle school and high school. Not to mention one of my 8th grade teachers getting into a fight with a classmate. Thankfully she kept her job, because she didn't initiate it.
