Taylor's career is bigger than Britney's. This is a fact that cannot be denied. That doesn't negate the fact that Britney is an iconic pop figure that is more than just "tabloid fodder".

Britney failed to reach the #1 spot of Billboard 200 two times in a row and hasn't had a platinum album since 2011. Since then, she's only had one top 10 song and even this one is a flopped one seeing the units it sold.

 

And I'm far far far from a Katy stan but this lady D-O-U-B-L-E-S the daily streams Miss Spears has, which clearly proves there's absolutely no demand for Britney in 2023. 

 

 She's had ONE of the most tragic declines this century alongside with Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Avril Lavigne, etc.. These are girls more within her range.

It's really an INSULT comparing someone with 255M certified units, 12 Grammys, including 3 fxcking AOTYs to Britney's pathetic washed up career.

Yeah, i've always felt that Britney is very much a nostalgia act that gets overhyped by ATRL for some reason. Yeah she had a big peak, no doubt about that, but nobody in the GP actually remembers her first two albums outside of the big singles, they aged pretty poorly.
