Taylor has surpassed Britney, idk why Brit fans are struggling to accept that, Taylor is still going strong while Britney is literally not even an active popstar anymore

I think it's because Britney stans are still living in the time where they believed the only other female artist above her was Madonna. They still act as of it's the 1998-2003 period.

Taylor and it's not even close.

Anyone saying anything different is delusional or living in 2003.

Bigger overall career: Taylor

Bigger peak: Britney

Taylor has the bigger career, but Britney is more iconic and more influential.

One thing i also find funny is how Britney stans are saying Taylor has no "impact", which is a EXTREMELY subjective argument to make yet they say it so confidently :rip:

The way her music and lyrics are so constantly dissected, analyzed and taken seriously by so many people is impact. I mean there's a reason she managed to cultivate and maintain such a massive and loyal fanbase in a way no other female artist has EVER done. You can't accomplish that if you have no impact. Do you think Britney's music would ever by as analyzed and taken seriously as Taylor's is?

If we're talking about direct musical impact: she's the biggest inspiration of Olivia Rodrigo, one of the biggest female breakthrough artists of the 2020s. And Olivia definitively won't be the last, Taylor is massively beloved by so many celebrities.

I'm not denying that Britney had her own impact too, she did have an impact. But saying that Taylor has no impact is, as i said, extremely subjective and show a really shallow idea of what "impact" is.

If I was a Britney stan I would just let this thread tank instead of keeping fighting

Her feud with that actress; Camilla Belle was possibly her biggest career moment prior to the Kanye incident

It wasn't until her break up with Harry is when people started paying attention to her musically

With today’s inflation the Circus Tour grossed $194,000,000 USD

Noooo not personal attacks and inflation :ahh: Britney is bad at touring, hence no tour over 150M and coming up with all kinds of pathetic excuses when Domination got scraped. She's always been more of a TRL act.

Yeah, not the world but an important market to label an artist « global ».

The only time Taylor Swift performed in our country, this former country darling had yet to put away her banjo. It was in 2011, in a barely full Parisian Zenith, for the album Speak Now (2010). “There were tarps to hide the empty rows,”

Again, she’s big in the USA i’m not gonna deny that.

Britney Spears is more famous and her hits are known all around the world.

The ones arguing here, are probably new users.
(who don't even speak for the large part of the fandom

but search for fights and are Bad at arguments)

A large part of the Britney fandom, hasn't even entered this/these threads :rip:

The Army has been fighting these types of threads for years now, so it's a bit pointless now

especially when Britney is "retired"

Taylor has been global for over a DECADE now. Stop these lies already, "global" isn't France only you know? Her numbers are massive everywhere.

The way they ALWAYS bring up France as "proof" that she's not global, it's so pathetic :toofunny3:

If France is the only country you can ever bring up as "proof" then it pretty much confirms the argument has no value whatsoever. Especially since Midnights went #1 in France, completely destroying this idea that she's flopping there.
