gonna be one of those weird situations like latto where the peak is thanks to the remix but the remix artist is presumably uncredited

Kill Bill is so overrated

It really is. It's one of my least revisited songs on SOS.

But I'm still rooting for that Sza #1 tho

The remix has to accredit for at least 50% of the total points in order for the remix artist to be credited

Not really. That 2nd week Big Energy was at #3, it was #1 in sales, #3 in radio, and #6 in streaming (it’s highest position on that metric). And that was the week AIW debuted at #1, so BE’s #3 peak wasn’t a fluke.

SZA, Doja, Nicki and Ice Spice winning :clap3: love to see it!

Orchestrate that #1 like you orchestrate your children, girl!

If KB still at #2 then she has a chance to break the most week at #2 without hitting #1 :WAP:

2nd week:

itunes for remix #4, #3, #3, #9, #6, #4, #4. I used itunescharts which only keeps records of the t10; the solo version was somewhere below that. so remix outsold.

"The April 1-7 tracking week reflects the first full frame following the March 28 arrival of the song’s remix with Mariah Carey and featuring DJ Khaled."

If it got zero points from the remix, it would not have been #3. If the remix did not have a substantial impact, billboard would not have bothered to mention it the 2nd week in a row.

Predictors are saying the points will be extremely close again unfortunately and Morgan will easily overtake if the remix doesn’t serve stability. She needs at least 10m extra streams and the first day streams are not looking great :monkey:

Her label did everything wrong. This remix should have been released 2 weeks ago when the difference was like 3 points  :ace:

Makes me wonder what would have happened if the Big Energy remix was released on Friday (3/25) instead of Monday. I’d be willing to bet BE would have been #1 (and Mariah would have been credited).

But based on the quality, sounds like the remix was just finished last week.  :skull:

i guess y’all are very selective about which remixes you try to shade and which ones you don’t

rooting for kill bill anyway

Let’s go Morgan!

she probably needs about 29.5M streams MINIMUM to reach #1. that’s about 8 million more from last week. 2nd day spotify numbers will definitely give us a better picture for her chances

I assume @fridayteenagerefers to an example like Bad Guy & Bieber in '19. Bieber of course wasn't credited because his remix didn't earn 50+% of BGs points that week. But he WAS definitely responsible enough for BGs to win a superclose battle for 1wk #1 after OTR finally fell off. Without Bieber Señorita would've spent both weeks on top instead of 1. I think that week BG had 365 pts, Señorita 364 & OTR 356.

At that time BB only used Friday-Thursday for airplay. Sales & streaming were still Sun-Sat. BB didn't align all 3 metrics again till just a few weeks ago.
