Like they have some personal vendetta against SZA I have nothing against SZA. I just really want “Last Night” to stay at #1. I also feel the same way about The Weeknd’s new song and those Latino songs surging on Spotify for the following weeks as well.
pride4jc1222 Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 SOS’s TEA was 695, so at best, KB’s sales is 6950. I’m leaning towards LN having the advantage for the #1.

This is SZA’s last chance for #1. Morgan already had a few weeks up there and will likely spend at least a few more starting next week. 18 minutes ago, pride4jc1222 said: SOS’s TEA was 695, so at best, KB’s sales is 6950. It basically cancels out Morgan’s sales boost this week.

on the line Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 How many versions did it take Kill My Ear Drums Bill to get to number 1? Asking for a friend.

Revel Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 I’m so nervous about the outcome. Please pull through Kill Bill .
brianc33710 Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 OK Last Night gained 3.304 million in audience at Country radio over the past week. Apparently LN gained at T40, HAC & AC though I dont have those details. EDIT #8 Country, #16 T40, #19 HAC & #26 AC. So he probably at least gained 5 million overall among all stations. https://s3.amazonaws.com/bulletins.billboard.com/country/country_update_2023_0421.pdf

SissyThatTwink Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 literally why would anyone send hate to them??? they’re doing us a favor every single week! i don’t get it
brianc33710 Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Every base wants to hear that "their" artist will be #1 & that you're right when you say it. So basically the bases believe that the predictors are whose responsible for the charts.
fridayteenage Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 i remember when simm stopped doing it after stan meltdowns left and right the original

Holiest Dreams Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Stans harassing prediction accounts for posting predictions is... insane. If they all go away, it will harm the acts whose fanbases were doing this... because predictions allow big fanbases to strategize and figure out how much they need of X to get X goal (ie how many sales for #1 etc). Like, congrats, you played yourselves Hopefully Chart Essentials stays, they are just as accurate.

So basically the bases believe that the predictors are whose responsible for the charts. I've observed this kind of behaviour over the years as well. And it just blows my mind how their brains function. Like, what do they want? For everyone to predict their favourite pop girl at #1 each week, and then for real chart to come out and find out they're actually #12 or whatever? Wouldn't they prefer to just hear the honest truth (or as close to the truth as we can get with the data we have), rather than be lied to so they can celebrate for a couple of days? And then be humiliated and embarrassed when the real chart comes out and they're nowhere near #1? It would be an interesting experiment to get all the predictors together to conspire and put a pop girl at #1 in all the predictions one week when she's actually miles off, to see how the fans react when the real chart is revealed. I'm curious what would happen, I think most likely they'd turn on Billboard if that happened. If I were a pop girl stan I would, if anything, prefer them to be constantly underestimated each week. Then you just end up being pleasantly surprised every time the charts come out.
Shaner69 Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 (edited) I honestly hope Morgan gets the #1 because it's actually consumed. Kill Bill remix is terrible. Princess Diana is good but it's getting fueled by fans. I want Morgan #1 just for the meltdowns. It's sad billboard is not a popularity chart anymore. It's a one week trying to get to #1 flop chart. #1 doesn't mean anything anymore. Edited April 22, 2023 by Shaner69

You can make an argument for either song being the most popular song of the week. Princess Diana doesn't have any business being anywhere near #1. Without mass buying, PD is like the 15th-20th most popular song of the week.
