They basically murder River removing it from Playlist & Radio to basically do ANYTHING for Jaded ?? That doesn’t make any sense

As @wish said earlier in the airplay thread, iHeart stations are pretty much not touching Jaded. River flopping propably made radio hesitant to jump on a new single without support from streaming audiences, but the thing is that we have zero playlist support, no MV, literally nothing, so I don't see this situation changing unfortunately. Her Tiktok audience is already busy with ALY, so I don't think there's much room to push Jaded there for now either.

 

At this point I just miss the rumors about a Vol. 2, even if it were a massive bomb, there'd be new music to look foward to at least.

Ngl this had every chance of being a hit since it rose so organically, but if neither Miley or Columbia care about this being a hit, it deserves to flop. 

 

I do not understand how they set up the era so well, and abandoned it on release. I can’t tell if Columbia don’t see the point because Flowers went beyond their expectations or Miley has no interest in any other song being a hit.

If it makes anyone feel better, KIIS and a few other big stations have finally started to play Jaded. 1-3 times a day, but it's still something
