now that i’ve sat with the album all weekend, i think it’s pretty great. possibly top 3 for me. i think if FKOH and Rock Hudson were omitted, and then if Lighthouse and Red Flag Collector were produced differently it’d be close to number one for me.

After second listen: Down to You remais my favourite. It probably has the best chorus in the album.

 

Magic has grown on me, so has Lighthouse. they joined my top 5 along with Down to You, Skip this Part and chemistry

yeah after spending some time with the album my initial ranking is probably

 

1. down to you

2. rock hudson

3. lighthouse

4. skip this part

5. high road

6. magic

7. mine

8. chemistry

9. my mistake

10. I hate love

11. that's right

12. favourite kind of high

13. red flag collector

14. me

 

the top 9 are all at least 9/10s to me so it feels wrong seeing some of them so low, but man I ADORE this album

Genuinely love every track, just some I love slightly more than others I guess if I had to rank it right now it would be something like

2.Down to You

3.Magic

4.I Hate Love

Neither should be singles as are the two weakest songs on the albums and both have done very little with their time in the sun. Me is a dreadful streamer, FKOH is an okay streamer but hasn’t garnered attention despite being out for a while and a high profile remix

genuinely think it’s a misstep to send it to radio so long after the prerelease did very little and down to you is right there 

 

although I’d imagine these 12 plays along with me’s 2 plays will just be album release week plays rather than anything official being sent to radio

I would cut Favorite Kind of High, Me, Rock Hudson, Red Flag Collector and I Hate Love.

 

I like High Road but it's just another Kelly anthem.
