The way this affair is basically the best thing to happen to all of their "careers" except for the Toms and Raquel, and even the Toms might have at least benefitted in some weird business sense way.

Gave all of their podcasts a massive boost at a time when the podcast market is broadly oversaturated and in a downturn, spiked VPR and any associated WWHL ratings to an insane level, Ariana is getting offers and press that would have been completely inaccessible for her without this (let's be real she's always been a side character on this show), Kristen/Jax/Brittany have wormed their way back into the realm of the show, if Something About Her gets off the ground this year it will probably be able to bank on like a year of success off of the wake of this, James (and to a lesser extent Lala) is being treated like a heroic white knight after being generally regarded at best as a sloppy clown for most of his run.

The one thing about this all that has kind of shocked me is just how little Stassi has engaged with and cashed in on this stuff.

It’s my impression Stassi is okay w being off the show and has semi-accustomed herself to being without it. I think she had serious complications w her first child so that probably put things in perspective for her and she’s focusing on her family more now (Kristin, Jax and Brittany can’t relate :skull:)

It's the way everyone goes up for Lala and James rn and how easily they forget one is a home wrecker and the other is an alcoholic who verbally abused Raquel for years (and his other cast members)

Its okay bc the pattern of this show is the one person everyone turns on ends up thriving and doing very well on the show (Stassi season 1 when no one believed her about Jax cheating and ostracized her, Lala and James season 5 when all the OGs hated them and turned against them and no one wanted to film with James in subsequent seasons, Scheana in the early seasons was always dogged on but now is well liked) so hopefully Raquel follows this pattern (the only one who was hated on by all that never really saw a redemption moment was Kristen :toofunny3: but she still lasted very long on the show)

the way Rachel would have been an easy fan fave if it weren’t for scandoval

Which is funny because the two people who kept her down the most were Tom/Ariana who we know now were covering up all the **** Tom actually did like Miami girl and just chose to make Kristen look insane when she was right about not only that but the fact that they hooked up together in the first place. Kristen was messy in her own right but she was right about other people and they literally just tried to make her look insane/obsessed with Tom all the time.

Um, what's wrong with this chick? Rachel... like seriously she giggled and smirked throught the entire episode, struggled to slurr together a few sentences which held no weight, whatever she said was either cringey, asinine, stupid and tone deaf at best. Not only she seems to be dim but she actually seems evil to her core wtf.

I don’t get ppl calling Raquel Rachel as a drag… like… none of them use their real names. Stassi is Nastassia, Lala is Lauren I think, and Jax is Jason, and those are just the ones I know of. At least Stassi I can say could be a nickname but the rest don’t even make sense. It’s not the drag you think ppl :toofunny3:

That's her name, why would me calling her Rachel be a drag?

:msmarvel: they didn’t hesitate to start lashing him

lisa is so annoying

The first part of the reunion was pure entertainment Yes, Lala and James are hypocrites but they were so funny hackling the whole time.

Spoiler

Lala really hates Lisa, doesn't she?

I highly recommend watching the extended and uncensored episodes on Peacock/hayu.

The way they collectively pounced on Tom as soon as he started drumming up tears had me howling :ahh:

2.036M for the reunion :jonny2:

It was rly entertaining, the booing :rip: and seeing Rachel from afar sent me. The LVP lashings were also a kii. I do think James needed to take it down a notch. Half the reunion has dedicated to him having a tantrum :deadbanana:
