Explain

They arbitrarily made the tracking range for their data November 19th 2022-October 21 2023… thus ignoring the massive amount of streams and albums sold by Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift. As both artists have demolished records this past year to not include them in a larger tracking period is blatant riggery to prevent a full sweep by two artists :celestial5:

Kelly Clarkson will have to find a new gig to complain about not being able to combine with her daytime talk show, her stint on The Voice and being a mom

seeing as she hasn't hosted the past two years i think she will be fine :angelo:

FOX was the original home for the Billboard Awards so it'll go back there.

Yup. Ratings haven't been great for NBC anyways and it's time to bring it back to Fox.

Mess  That’s super annoying and unfair for the artist.

But I will say, even though I really do disagree with it, I do understand from a TV/award show perspective why they wouldn’t want an entire ceremony swept by 2 names, especially the BBMAs since they’re already on life-support and probably want as many names winning as they can  :gaycat6:

Taylor still will win almost everything, including Artist of the Year. This doesn't hurt her at all  :skull:

It's surprising that the other award show "Teen Choice Awards" stopped just before the rise of TikTokers and Olivia Rodrigo.

It's a pointless award anyway, just get rid of it.

These shows would be far more successful on an online only streaming giant. That's the visibility they need. This could be a blessing in disguise.

She's never complained. She always says how much she loves all of her jobs.

Imagine being pressed by the nicest, most relatable celebrity out there.

The problem with these award shows is they always go to the same people because they’re based on popularity instead of quality - BMA’s, VMA’s, AMA’s and IHeartRadio Awards are all based on either public votes or chart and radio data. Imagine a film award show that’s only based on public votes or box office - it really wouldn’t be fun at all.

maybe they can move and approach Korean TVs to broadcast the show

Army and Blink this is now your job!

Considering how close ABC is with Dick Clark Productions, it wouldn't surprise me if this returned to ABC or an ABC-affiliated network, considering they hosted the ceremony from 2011–2017. NBC has the Golden Globes through 2027, though, I hear that may be ending.
