qurl Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 he will beat trump in the primary and trump will run as an independent

Setting dates for filing deadlines early enough to not give a losing primary contender time to file for a ballot spot. Many states have also tightened write in candidate procedures to make it difficult to run that type of campaign.

Trump being forced to be a write-in candidate will clear the path further for DeSantis to win.
