Exactly i love that album. I actually like all her albums there all slept on, especially better mistakes.

I like Satellite but the rap  feature should have been Anderson .Paak over Snoop Dog imo. It fits his vibe much more.

Cute album.

best: miracle man, satellite & visions.

worst: i am

Also I wish she had finished the full chorus acapella at the end of Satellite. That ending is magnificent sounding but so abrupt.

The last 3 songs were horrendous and dragged down my overall thoughts on the record, but honestly it was surprisingly enjoyable before then. I'm Good sticks out like a sore thumb though, the way the song just LOUDLY appears after Call On Me like a thud and I still kinda hate the song nn

Satellite or Visions were probably my favorites. Or even the first song. Her voice sounded really weird for the first minute of the first two songs but I feel like her voice has generally sounded better on this album too.

Not people dragging i am when it’s one of only two songs i use from the album :rip: the other being satellites

My Rankings after a few listens:

1. Satellite

2. I'm Good (Blue)

3. Call On Me

4. Visions (Don't Go)

5. Heart Wants What It Wants

6. When It Rains

7. I Am

8. I'm Not High, I'm In Love

9. Miracle Man

10. Blue Moon

11. Born Again

12. Seasons

I didn't think Bebe had in her to make an album as enjoyable as this one :jonny5: The songs feel properly fleshed out and she is SINGING!

I'm pleasantly surprised. Go Bebe! :clap3:

Miracle man is a ******* bop :jonnycat:

Where's Bebe's banner? @Ryan @khalyan

I don’t know her

This album is great... I feel like there's a lot of ABBA influences in here. Usually I think they come out corny, but I really think she nailed it.

Wow, wow, color me impressed. I didn't know what to really expect going into this album, but I came out VERY satisfied! I had only heard "I'm Good (Blue)" prior to sitting down for a full listen and I am glad I went into this immaculate project that way :clap3:.

1. "Heart Wants What It Wants": A fantastic opener that sets the themes of the album and the sonic direction of it as well. The outro freakin' slaps! 9/10

2. "Miracle Man": Okay, this is catchy AF! The "Say amen (yeah!), amen (yeah!)" :bird: bit is genius. 8/10

3. "Satellite" featuring Snoop Dogg: Well, well, well, what do we call this? Pop perfection! This is the spiritual successor to Dua's "Levitating" and everything about this tracks works perfectly from the intro to the lyrics to the production to Snoop to just... aaahhhhh ! 11/10

4. "When It Rains": The outro here is my favorite bit and I wish it had a proper bridge, but this is sure a nice transitional track between disco and dance-pop. The second half of the chorus >>> 8/10

5. "Call On Me": Wasn't sure how I felt about the drop until the second time around but I believe it works. I do enjoy the verses the most and overall it's an enjoyable track. This and "Sacrifice" should be back-to-back on tour with a nice crossover fade in whatever order she pleases :flame:. 7.5/10

6. "I'm Good (Blue)" (Bebe Rexha and David Guetta): This doesn't sound out of place as I thought it might, but it's still alright of a dance-pop banger. Nothing too unique and the sample is overused. 7/10

7. "Visions (Don't Go)": Honestly, this is the only song on this entire album that doesn't do anything for me. It's fine but the chorus isn't very punchy and the bridge drags. 5/10

8. "I'm Not High, I'm In Love": Fffucccckkkkkk!!!! This is sssoooo damn good! The swooping strings here give such a lift to everything else and the breakdown to full production at the end is pure bliss :flower2:. 11/10

9. "Blue Moon": This woman really knows how to make excellent pop tunes, doesn't she? The key change in this is EVERYTHING and that "Blue moon-ooh-ooh-ooh" is a moment! 10/10

10. "Born Again": Ooh, that guitar solo is lush and I love me a final impactful chorus! 8/10

11. "I Am": Goddamn right, preach it Bebe! This is such an anthem and I could see an entire arena chanting this :gaygacat5:. 9/10

12. "Seasons" featuring Dolly Parton: How nostalgic, yet heartbreaking and heartfelt at the same time :chick3:. The vocals and lyrics here are amazing. Sssoo sentimental. 10/10

This album is definitely Bebe Rexha's best to-date and I am glad it is self-titled because it feels like it's the one she has been working up to. I enjoyed Better Mistakes on first listen a lot but over time it has become clear Expectations is a stronger effort. However, Bebe is one I will come back to regularly because there's plenty of replay value and a sonic landscape she should stick to for a few years.

I’d put Im Good on the album if I was her also as at the end of the day as it will help her stats and I feel like they tried to place it in track list as best as they can, but ya it definitely sounds random af being on the album :rip:

no like volume wise. it’s literally like i turned the volume up a few pegs as soon as that song comes on, it’s jarring

I agree! I'm not sure why someone could not have edited/fixed this and the demo lyrics to Satellite prior to release. Prob too much 420! lol

I want the deluxe tracks. Hope we get that soon.
