Renaissance, N/A on IFPI charts, OUT of the top 10 on the YEC of UK, US, AUS, CAN, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Korea, Japan, Netherlands, mediocre streams, mediocre physical and digital sales.

just 2 cute radio hits. :bird:

Blackout is another example. It performed terribly and was a massive decline commercially.

Speak Now also fits the bill.

It literally had an 1M debut :rip:

Future Nostalgia. The most streamed non-single just cracked 200m after nearly three years. With how much money was spent on all those promo slots, TTH placements and radio play and with her stealing other artists' songs, that's basically a larger scale Camila era

It's literally #41 in the UK (with their formula that takes away the Top 2 songs)

No need to lie

Still Over It by Summer Walker debuted with huge #s and did well initially for the 1st half year but it'll take many years to go 2X Platinum. No longer charting on Billboard 200

Ended up being a huge slump compared to Over It

People saying Femme Fatale and Britney Jean as if they weren't successes for an artist 13 and 15 years deep in her career :rip:

For reference there is more of a time gap between BOMT and Femme Fatale than there is between The Fame-Chromatica and OOTB-Smile.

You wanted 10m records sold 13 years in?

Folklore, Evermore, Midnights...

I mean, don't get me wrong. Taylor is a massive streaming force & she has the numbers to prove it, and those eras I mention were indeed a success if you look at them in a plainly commercial sense.

Which is the topic of this thread :deadbanana4:

I feel like ATRL overrates "Folklore, Evermore and Midnights" eras.

The eras have cute US album sales... that's it, the singles flopped, the videos struggle to reach 100M and the streams are average... even disappointing. :bird:

You are so deeply unserious :rip:

Future Nostalgia especially if you take into account the rerelease. People act like it's some huge album when it had very underwhelming rankings on IFPI global chart despite all the playlisting, payola, remixes...

Femme fatale

Dua lipa self titled. It was only successful in the UK, yet mysteriously has 10 billion streams :rip:

She was 10 years into her career not 20 or 30 :rip: 4 sold 3 million and Pinks greatest hits sold 5 million and had 2 big hits. Those are her peers too

I didn’t know FF is a flop, I thought it’s successful because the album has 3 Top 10 hits :deadbanana4: I even bought a copy of CD.

Femme Fatale was a moderate success, but Britney Jean was an undeniable colossal flop. 280k pure sales are TRAGIC for a 2013 album, no matter how you spin it.

Femme Fatale also comes to mind.

Shania Twain’s Come On Over.  It’s success was all driven by singles.  If you take out the singles, it is a rather uneventful era.

Has she even done one performance other than clapping for Harry at the TV Grammys. Wait until the sold out tour starts.
