based on the lyrics I don't think it is for the gays lol

the OP was edited but the original was a quote from her saying that it was going to be an LGBT community anthem :thing:

Well she said she's going to perform a new song called Freedom and who knows maybe it'll become a gay anthem. She didn't make the song with the intent for the gay community but it could happen just as I will survive or I'm coming out classics did even tho they were not made for the LGBT

So it's not getting released.

By the time summer comes, something else will come up and will derail her 'plans' and this will join all the other songs she 'premiered' but never 'released'.

She is her own worst enemy :rip:

Well she didn't specify of which year

Maybe we'll actually have it leaked in 2029's summer

Katy Tiz, one of the songwriters, confirmed the release for the summer. Page Six said its coming “in the upcoming months”. Its now registered on songfile.

IDK but this screams “shelved” to me 😭😭😭 the trust issues are real

I don’t like this one at all. Give me another Don’t Hold Your Breath or keep it…

I imagine it’ll be out in Pride Month.

*Freedom* *never gets to release it*

She and Normani have alot in common.

Tbh, she should’ve stayed with PCD. She wants to be a solo star but the decisions never make sense.

I just read the tweet. The way she speaks about 'working on new music'....

Yeah, she ain't releasing. Summer will come and she will have to shoot Masked Singer S57, which will derail her plans, then X Factor will come knocking and she will focus on that.

:rip:

She's so predictable.

nicole at least has 2 albums out under her solo name. normani can't relate. PCD was never gonna workout as long as robin antin is still the head of the dragon unfortunately. nicole definitely abandoned ship too early though. but her management and label situation are a mess. how people are ok working with her knowing that nothing has ever come out and whatever has for the most part has been beneath. her career truly is a cautionary tale of how to fumble a superstar
