Reducing is so much better for the planet. Having recycled plastic singles rotting in a warehouse isn’t any better than non-recycled and is probably worse on a technical level when you calculate how much energy, time and transport is needed to be done to even get that recycled plastic to exist in a useable form for vinyl records, CDs and their packaging.
