This sounds so good, too bad it will debut with 1 stream because MYS are too busy complaining about Newjeans

lynn-spirit.gif

Like literally I don't care about New Jennies and few others has been praising them on this very thread.

What's up with this weird combo of mentioning Aespa and the MYs every other second?    :foxaylove2:

“The Flash” is definitely the musical highlight of the week. “TGIF” has such an amazing video, but the chorus and hook were not there like they needed to be.

off topic but everytime somebody mentions The Flash i assume it’s about the movie:ahh:

Does anyone know why Hanni seems to have the biggest global pull? Also brand wise? She seems to be in every campaign :deadbanana4: I’m guessing she’s the best networker of the bunch but also she’s just 18, is it because she’s SEA?

I would guess it's because she's really charismatic both on stage and off + she speaks English which is an advantage

but all the girls are doing well for themselves and bagging brand endorsements left & right. Global Coca-Cola ambassadors with their ads being played in front of Barbie :clap3:

Not GD fans hoping that his brand flops so he can release new music ... Is this how @Zack feel for miss Jessica...

I hope she does flop if she gives us another Call Me Before You Sleep.

Jessica tour agreement is rumored to be signed this week and she's filming her MV/comeback in Korea and Japan...the album seems to be coming (finally)

So luckily not for me, though her brand is one of her dreams so I'm glad it's doing so well and open for 10 years next year :clap3:

We love a successful woman in her 30s doing what she loves :clap3:

TGIF would have been a 10 with a stronger chorus.
But the girls whew. Strongest lineup ever :WAP:

Revisiting these performances by VOCALIST Joy.

She has great control of her voice and a really distinctive tone. There's a reason her OST smashed :clap3:

The fact Baemon is finally debuting next month but there's like negative hype :deadbanana4:  interested to see how the BP renewal news affect when they start the official rollout :matty:

---

The way all the RUNext performances are so gay-coded with all the cvnty dance breaks, the vougeing and dip in the Tell Me stage is sending me :jonny6:

So some = / = all MYs :priceless:

Tbf NJ are just your standard kpop girls when it comes to singing so I guess some of them made several points :cm:

Nothing about BM hypes me :skull: The numbers of girls, the ‘hiphop’ approach, YG management, more Teddy music

A bop idc what other ppl say :jonny: I really like Raye's demo too (and her previous album while we're at it). Let's support this indie legend :clap3:

it sounds a lot better than the demo

I do think the chorus still seems a little boring?

perched for the full song tho

Not Demi eating Le Sserafim in their own song. :deadbanana4:

Aespa and Mys are constantly drag here for every tiny reasons but there's certainly have double standards for specific groups in this thread. You don't praise them or you'll get labeled as jealous HaTeRs1!

There’s nothing about them trending on sk forums

Not just them even the Hybe survival show isn’t doing much nosie

guess sk already getting their 4th gen fix from nj Ive idle Aespa and le sserafim…

I mean all 5 of those are already kinda slaying so there’s plenty to focus on for SK

Then there’s also Itzy and Nmixx… being there, so there’s little need for even more groups

Nobody cares about Kpop acts except Kpop fans. Fans and companies trying to pretend otherwise look silly.

But there are a lot of Kpop fans in the West now. It'll continue to be a big lucrative touring market.

As for songs that penetrate the public consciousness well, K-POP has only achieved that twice from the most unexpected acts: Psy and Fifty Fifty.

Everything else is mediaplay and fan-driven.

I came across this cover of super shy but with harmonies. Most of the comments were about how RV would have sang the song the same way

Exactly! This is so what I mean. I love R&B so I'm just a sucker for this kind of thing ig

You’re not supposed to say this out loud n

Altho a surprising number of non-Kpoppers I know have heard How You Like That? on TikTok or something and Dynamite was kind of a hit

But BP and BTS are by far the biggest acts in the West so that’s not a total surprise

RUNext spoilers

Spoiler

Yewon, Moa and Ruka OUT this round, They really used Ruka for some Le Sserafim mediaplay and gave her the bare minimum screentime :gaycat7:

It seems Wonhee isn't getting the push anymore since ha vocals are N/A, so it seem Himena is the new maknae payola girl and I kinda don't mind since she kinda serves :cm:

NJ clearly the top 4th gen act, overall probably just behind BTS & BP at this point

The users here get mad when you say that don't! But tea! Once HYBE gets on the full steam train of NewJeans they're going to break all the records, they're going to be the first K-pop group to finally crack the US GP I fear, NJ1 150k FW, multiple H100 Top 40s and a Top 10 (if its an English single) is coming. HYBE needs a new flagship act I can't let their flagship group be the one that blocked Olivia's G4U for 9 weeks

Daniellé Giselle Knowles, Hyeihanna Fenty, Haerina Carpenter, MinJesus and Hanniana Grande the US GP is READY!:jonny5:

Hanni is like the unofficial main dancer and for some the main vocalist as well (she's the go to member for like r&b singing, like runs n **** while Danielle does the heavy lifting for belts and whatnot) so she has that appeal going for her. Not to mention she's an English speaker, has SEA on lock + once Australia catches up to her like they did with Rosie that's another market. She has that whole Lisa vibe (w/o the badass image)

The only member who has just as much potential brand-wise imo is Danielle but sadly Korea pays her dust however with them becoming more and more global she'll probably become the eventual centerpiece of the group and I'm willing to be we'll only start seeing that once they push themselves further into the US/western market (Dani is a spicy white girl :deadbanana2:every white Koreaboo's dream nnnn)
