This is partly a fan issue, too. Editors are very skilled at removing any facial blemishes, altering darker skin tones, slimming proportions, etc. They want them to look like AI. I very distinctly remember following Exo as a kid and encountering the same phenomenon. Now it's been exacerbated by surgery and fillers.

Yeah I was saying earlier today how Sunmi needs to back to the pop bangers because it all depends on what clicks with the Korean GP atp, same with Hyuna. Even Hwasa had a moderate hit this year after flopping last year so I don’t see why the other two can’t smash again
