Gidle debuted they were behind Izone & Itzy then they got their first hit in Korea, it got overshadowed by LD and HB. However the fact they went from competing from Itzy/Izone to the top current 4th gen GG is by far more impressive.

(G)I-DLE is very successful as a group but it seems like korea doesn’t really care about them enough besides the music

like they stan the group/music but not the individuals
