Not sure what I want from Seola's solo, she's very versatile but at the same time I feel like nothing really "fits" her. But knowing Starship they'll probably give her some cheap Ava Max-inspired song with uninspired, copycat aesthetics (in other words, an IVE concept)

 

I hope Lexie Liu, SUMIN, Wong Kar-Wai's movies, Faye Wong, Kylie Minogue's Impossible Princess and early Crystal Kay are on that moodboard

Yes, she's probably gonna work with Full8loom which is fine by me, WJSN-Full8loom is the K-pop equivalent of Nelly Furtado-Timbaland. But I hope they release something a little more ambitious than coffee shop music with twinkling synths, it's an official solo debut and she needs to go all out. 

 

Edit: Speaking of Nelly/Timbaland she would chew a Say It Right inspired song, and Greedy is smashing everywhere right now, take a hint @starship

I’ve been trying to come up with an adequate response but tbh im mostly just SO sad

 

shes been my favorite soloist after Sunmi for a few years, so this one hurts 

 

totally understandable though - it must be hard to work as a smaller artist and not only just not breakthrough, but to have things get harder and harder. I totally think she could’ve lasted longer if she had been able to keep her socials and not restart them after leaving Estimate

 

wishing her a happy and healthy life in whatever she decides to pursue next
