One Kpop thread is a much better idea and I say this as a Girl Group stan. The idea of a thread for girls groups only is not new and has failed every time. BP and BTS even had their own thread (also both dead). The funny thing in this thread and over the many years was actually the messy posts and fights. Just post all the girl group stuff in here. There are wayy more girl group stans in here you just have to post.

Yea, maybe instead of a separate gg thread, there can be a separate kpop thirst thread? I like bgs too but I don't like pages of thirsting/achievements either. I think gg-only stans would have better reactions if the bg posts weren't mostly achievement/looks based

there's a huge difference between a general girl group thread and threads for just individual groups. individuals groups arent enough to carry ongoing discussion surrounding overall pop culture which this forum is about. and the cultures between girl groups and boy groups have always been different in kpop, especially to how audiences consume each type

 

as a girl group stan id like my own space to drive more productive discussion within the unique culture and im sure many are on the same page

Well that's what happened when you're already at the top of the food chain and you barely releases anything/the material isn't up to par most of the time
