Omg that SKZ song is pure noise. More offensive than NCT ever was

Drama is actually really good! I like it more than Savage (which I personally was never a big fan of) and the MV is amazing, their best by far. Although it does kinda seem like it could get old quick so we'll have to see, but for now I'm bopping.

I'm bopping already. It's truly the twin sister of Savage :clack:

What Girls lacking compared to these superior hyperbops is a memorable hook and unexpected switch ups.

far superior than what Stray Kids are trying to do with that LALALALA song

Drama won for me. You can really hear that their vocals set them apart from other groups in their category.

Giselle made the most of her 2 lines and Winter and Ningning sounded amazing in the last part of the song and Karina was immediately slaying me in the intro :clap3:

I was also quite interested to hear that SM has managed to capture the Yoo Young-jin sound again without him being there. The song was still more toned down than Savage but all the unique aespa elements were there.

The mini...Trick or Trick and Don't Blink are the best B-sides for me. YOLO is good too. Hot Air Balloon still sounds out of place on this album to me. But overall it's been 2/2 for aespa this year! :clap3:

I wonder if Drama is one of the songs they've had ready since pre-debut like Next Level, Spicy or one of the songs they recorded relatively recently

Did the girls say anything about it?

drama has been around long enough for it to already have choreo 10 months ago

Props to them for singing live with that choreo, cause It seems to require an insane amount of energy and focus :jonny2:

It was an amazing comeback stage!

this aespa mini album is SO sm. like, you hear it and you know it’s from an sm gg

you mean the same old formula / type of songs youd expect thats literally interchangeable with any of their ggs. fx could do any of these songs :deadbanana4:

The dance moves, the stage presence, the dominance, the energy, like he’s truly on another level :clap3:

Drama truly is their best song since Savage and may I say I think I like it more than Savage? :jonny: it's too early to tell and Savage is a masterpiece but it has all the perfect elements

I can't believe people are comparing it to Girls, that one had their worst chorus, not memorable at all

My only complaint is that I don't see how this is connected to the story (they seem to have abandoned the SMCU episodes completely) and the album cover is so lazy compared to the other 3 minis :rip:

Put him on center and it's the formula for Stray Kids hitting I fear :jonny5:

LALALALA is smashing Thunderous (finally) on Youtube right now (another Lee Know era), after 2 years holding their youtube records

I have the feelings the Spotify numbers may be positive, hope I'm not wrong. But their Youtube performance is usually a good thermometer of interest.

It's (very) loosely connected to the story. There are references to REAL WORLD in the lyrics (plus references to Savage, Girls and MY WORLD), so I guess we can assume they are still in REAL WORLD for now and the story hasn't moved on from there yet :michael:

i was hoping giselle would match the energy and attitude of the other members but in the MV her expressions are so blank and she seems so bored..

First few listens Drama is definitely on Savage level production-wise but the song as a whole is missing something, it kinda feels like a watered-down Girls

Don't Blink won the night for me   God knows why they went for a Friday release too when Girls was their last one and we all know how that fared commercially, who knows maybe they don't think this will stomp the charts but  :katie:

Yeah, I'm amazed at how "LALALALA" is outperforming "Thunderous" at the moment on YouTube. It could potentially become their most successful song on YouTube, which is intriguing considering we've moved past the YouTube era. The song has nearly reached 1 million likes and has garnered more likes than many other group songs already, indicating that its numbers so far aren't carried by ads :clap3:

Savage had a 10/10 pre-chorus and bridge imo.
Drama has whole is a 8/10 but it’s not savage level.
Compared to Savage or even NL, the reactions are positive and I rarely see positive comments which is rare :emofish: So I think drama might do well in Korea it’s rising so there’s that
