Roly-poly a moment. I even showed my anti-pop dad Roly-Poly and Day by Day as a teen, and he actually liked them Let us not forget this one too

 

The way so many geriatrics are still holding onto these groups even though kpop cycles through like 10 new groups a year They really had too much power. If a lot of these girls debuted today, they could've gone mega international. Stage presence, talent, and personality!

Don't despair sister, Spicy did very well only 6 months ago, they are fine  These types of songs can sometimes be hits, look at Baddie which is very Aespa'd and yet is #1 on the charts. It is just all about timing & virality with K-pop these days. Girls rollout was an utter disaster and it got undermined by Illusion. There's always hope for success

 

I do share your misgivings about them not doing new sounds but at least we'll get some vocal and rap delivery moments on this song, Spicy and Better Things were both very boring that regard.
