There are so few girl groups debuting now (doesn't look like we'll even have 10 all-new girl groups to debut this year) that they might not have another girl group to go to.

Not an NCT concert with aespas being special guest

Screaming @ SM giving all NCT units 5 songs each but they couldn't do the same thing to Aespa. Watch RV to perform with only 1 song with Birthday as that :bibliahh:

do u honestly think these labels will build a girlgroup with the intention of jojo siwa level success? hell no these labels are probably seeing newjeans go ballistic globally with their cute concepts thinking 'americans like cute **** now lets debut minors!' without fully realizing the appeal isnt in being cute, its actual listenable pop music.

33.3k likes which is more their recent tweets combined.. hope the girls enjoy the experience I guess. But I hope their not on SM because the reactions have been quite.. harsh?

Speedy recovery to Miss Irene. I guess on the brighter side, she's not going to be there at least to witness the early halloween terror SM is about to unleashed for a whole 2 to 3 hours. Poor my other girls :skull:

Also additional note; I feel like Camila has the potential to be in a Netflix show? She sings amazingly for her age and has the look that reminds me of Spanish Netflix Teen Originals, maybe something like Violetta for her :giraffe:

No wonder Irene isn’t performing. I wouldn’t either after seeing that ugly green ocean.

Taeyeon and Hyo knew better.

You said this all perfectly. Also for A2Fail, I don't think JYP has that many company loyal stans like SM or HYBE do so I don't see that being an advantage for them, especially seeing how many viral tweets from K-pop fans who are saying how this whole project is wasting the girl's time :rip: I know their stans are still going about how JYP knows what he's doing and Republic is involved

He does. NOT.

Remember Wonder Girls' attempts in America with that Jonas label? His groups are only 'famous' by K-pop stans only, not the GP which JYP wants to gain attention from for Vcha. I don't see K-pop stans who do support the group staying with them long-term past the 2nd single since they will always prefer the 'real' K-pop unfortunately.

For Dream Academy, the rollout has been a disaster, to say the least with the delayed teasers and episodes. Yet I think HYBE knows more when it comes to the US market in comparison to JYP, especially with BTS which has helped them gain more connections. Geffen also seems more proactive in the project even though the whole thing has been a mess. The girls in DA are also older and more diverse which will help them get more hype even from sceptics but we will wait for the first single and final lineup for me to fully judge.

So my predictions for Vcha:

- They will be active for 2/3 years, think about flop Popstar groups like 'L5' or 'Lollipop'

The first single gains some attention; fails to chart in America (Bubbling Under maybe?) and their debut album flops significantly creating losses for JYP USA(i.e. &Team without their fanbase)

- Perform at KCAs and a few American TV shows with little fandom gains in America

- Some deal with Nickleloden, maybe a movie like WG did?

- Their next singles failed to chart and 2nd album gets released with little momentum or attention.

- Some girls (2?) begin to withdraw with choice or parent's choice due to homesickness, maybe Camilia/Lexus going back to School and KG continuing her solo projects

- Indefinite Hiatus/Radio Silence begins for a year with some girls being seen in their hometowns or doing projects (shows, music)

- JYP announces disbandment by press release to some Korean outlets (Not bothering with America) and later admits the project was a mistake (I.e WG America) and tries again in like.. a month later. :deadbanana2:

You did not have to drag L5 like that.

The messiest Girls band ever.

Marjorie was married with Alexandra's Brother, then she divorced him to get married with Alexandra's ex fiancé, they started dating while he was still with him. Fun fact these 2 tried a sub-unit together after group disbanded.

As far I know none of his songs spend more than 2 days on Spotify global top 10?

Also it’s also convenient how you don’t speak about his tragic AM global stats (he’s N/A) and his daily YT views :rip:. He’s not outperforming anyone globally when he can’t even chart more than 5 days on AM or can’t get more daily views than his gf old debut song please

Which is why it’s useless to brag only about Spotify stats when he can’t even chart top 20 in his own country. Doing good in ONLY one specific metric is not a flex! That’s why everyone drags acts like Nicki lol :dies:

Sales are also a metric and he sold 2x what Lisa did - only someone delusional would consider the best selling soloist to be a flop :skull:. I already acknowledged the YouTube thing unlike your inability to acknowledge anything that I’m telling you :priceless: + I guess Lisa performed better on Apple Music too. Unfortunately for her Spotify is the bigger service overall. Btw Layover actually charted on the US all genres chart so it’s not like he was totally N/A, it makes sense his album did better than his singles since none of them are particularly streaming friendly.

And Money peaked at 4,359,380 Spotify daily streams and Slow dancing peaked at 4,743,367 streams despite only going to #10 on the global chart. Congrats to Lisa for releasing during an emptier house I guess :michael:

I’ll even give you that V will probably not have the same longevity as Money did (though LMA is actually performing decently well), but all these outpeaks with “snooze” music against a club song that got happened to get attached to a TV show that was one of the biggest global phenomena in recent years is not what a “flop” looks like :fan:

Where did come from this mindset Stray Kids fans are supporting VCHA? I mean, I'm sure a few do, cause the fandom is massive, but I think majority of Stays are not invested in anyone but their faves.
