Jungkook is definitely bigger than Latto and she will gain more from this collab than he would. He has one of the most anticipated debuts, and there's probably a lot of a-list musicians that wanted to work with him and BTS in general. So it would've made more sense to collab with either Nicki, Cardi, Megan or Doja instead. 

 

 Latto had a hit song on US radio that was on power rotation for a while here, so definitely has more general public awareness on her name in the country than Jungkook who might or might not be recognizable with his name alone unless he’s attached with BTS’s name. 
She will definitely gain numbers from his dedicated global fanbase though so there’s that. 
But I’m struggling to see why they didn’t get Cardi or Doja because they’re definitely more A list than Latto ever will be

Are there even any other 4th Gen GGs who can sing at the same has good music? I guess not everyone can be Aespa
