my unbiased opinion about all these lsrfm talk here since I was not really into them and just started stanning antifragile era:

 

chaewon - the standout, the it girl, the jennie/wonyoung of the group. she will always get your attention no matter what and she slays all the time. first time I noticed her was for the antifragile/hydra trailer. a star

 

kazuha - I started noticing her since she's like the biggest blink and said bp is the reason she's an idol now. she's a slayer too tbh and might be the visual of the group for me

 

yunjin - another standout. chaewon, yunjin and kazuha are always slaying me and they just have it I fear. 

 

eunchae - never cared for her but unforgiven release made me appreaciate her. I think she's aware that people thinks she doesn't suit the group for tons of reasons but you can clearly see she's worked and is still working super hard to fit in. imo unforgiven era proved she belongs to the group

 

sakura - I was never an izone girlie so I dont know any of the girls. first time I heard of sakura was from when hybe got her. she never stands out to me since fearless, antifragile and till now with unforgiven. I'm being completely honest here but I dont think I ever notice her when watching lsrfm videos

I dont hate chaewon nor i stanned her but i felt her inclusion in izone was very sus there are too many talented members wasted she also didnt really gave anything memorable or worth stanning during her izone days, but i must admit she is killing it in lsrfm so i gave the credit when its due...  i just hope people would stop coming for sakura when she is also clearly the magnet of the group and her present is very important to the grouo.

 

Never cared about yunjin since her produce48 days she was not interesting mainly known for being gaeun friend and thats all. 

 

Kazuha is pretty but her rap and vocal is tragicue. Eunche is fitting more in newjeans. 

 

But As a group i think they are quite solid.

Chaewon is the main slayer of LSFM. It would be Kazuha but the girl has one of the ugliest tones I've heard in kpop unfortunately.

 

Anyway, this aespa comeback might put them in my top 3 of 4th gen along with IVE and STAYC. SM is a damn mess now but their new music is working for me actually. I hope they stick to this darker pots and pans-less sound. Spicy will be a collapse I fear.

The most suspicious to me were Nako & Hitomi. Korean voters are xenophobic. And there were no global votes at that time. Even Miss Xiaoting struggled to be in the top 9 with global votes and they had to show her in danger position several times to payola her into the top 9. 
 

Considering that season was like half Korean/Japanese trainees, but to have only Sakura in the Top 12, they must be so shook with the result. And they had this plan to promote on Japan as well so they chose to rig out the oldest and darkest from the group . Gaeun & Chowon deserved better.

Sure jan. Nako and hitomi were always inside top 9 for the whole seasons make it make sense. 

 

Chaewon inclusion was really sus, i mean i understand with jo yuri since she was meant to be their main vocalist.. I mean no hate to chaewon but it was very sus..
