The IFPI talk, didn't they only release the top 10 albums of the year? And Born Pink was at #8 with at least 2.5M confirmed sales on Gaon (prob higher counting SPS units as well). 

 

Girls did 1.7M of course they wouldn't make it to the list  

 

And didn't the Blonks claim YG did not report data when BP missed the Top Global Artists list?

This could just be for localized content.  Sure there was that squid thing and other global hits, but the explosion of netflix subscribers just inside of Korea during the start of the pandemic has not contracted with things going back to normal, and they don't share passwords, too.
