Normally in relationships or even sex only people shouldn’t exceed 10 years of age difference but as for a 18 year old adult, although it is considered the legal age, I'm sure that they are still not ready emotionally and physically for someone 10 years older than them, I mean they were at 8 when the other was 18, think about it.

 

So in the case of an 18 y o, I would consider 5 years of difference as the maximum age difference, i.e. not anyone over 23 y o.

 

But the 10 year difference can apply to anyone over 25, which means yes I can see a 35 yo and a 25 y o in a relationship or sex date without any problems.
