Of this Xmas dominance continues, Mariah will get her record back in 2024/2025.

What a festive Moment it’s gonna be.

Brenda will end up being the longest #2 Song in history, so congrats to her as well I guess.

We need Anti-Hero (Sleigh Bells Remix) asap.

When she goes left-field and it is instead a noise-pop Xmas remix by the band Sleigh Bells :jonny5:

Has Brenda ever gone #1?
If not Mariah should give her a break.

No and no.

creepin is going #1 after Christmas, poor anti hero

As much as I'd love for that to happen, it's too early to speculate. However, the way it's been gaining over the week and already got added to Rhythmic and Pop stations is promising. :date:

"Anti-Hero" ' six weeks at #1 are nothing to scoff at, though. It's the longest-running chart-topper since "As It Was". I'm also confident it should be having solid longevity in the top 10.

Yes. :heart2:

Also, I hope Santa Tell Me and Underneath the Tree will reach a new peak this year, but for that to happen, they need more radio support. :rip:

Holly Jolly Christmas is trash

I like the song. It comes from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer 1 of my favorite Christmas cartoons growing up. Burl Ives is the snowman who narrates the show.

Okay good for ha. What we need now is Kelly Clarkson's song to hit the top 10 this year. It's such a holiday bop

Seriously. It is the most worthy candidate of modern Xmas songs to be added to the holiday songs cannon after AIWFCIY :gaycat1:

Underneath the Tree is going to be the biggest Christmas song of the 2010s. However, the song I think will challenge it will be Michael Buble's "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas". I get the feeling Santa Tell Me is not going to connect with the next generation (the song that it is based on is on, Santa Baby, was just voted as the most hated Christmas song). I also feel that the Elton/Ed Christmas song from last year will connect well with future generations.

Santa Tell Me is too specific to Ariana’s My Everything sound, I think.

Yeah AHJC comes from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, which Ives narrates as the snowman ️. I know it can't get past 3 but 3 is a new peak. Ives died 14 April 1995, which would probably set a Top 3 most posthumous record.

Ah...so the gap looks like Lee isn't as far behind, 8 points instead of 19 & she has the sales lead. But Ives is back to 4 here. :cries:

It's just a different predictor. Most have her pretty far behind.
