Rich Flex 279* 7. I'm Good (Blue) 156 8. Lift Me Up 155

If she gets them naturally, like the first 2 weeks, I will have no problem with it. However, if she drops remix after remix to manipulate the charts, then I will be 'pressed' about it. I don't hate Taylor. I just hate the chart manipulation. What Taylor and her fanbase have been doing these most recent weeks is no different than what BTS and their stans did with Butter during the summer of 2021.

The only week she would've not been #1 without remixes is the third week and it sold 330 THOUSAND in that week It's not like it got there by some fluke it literally crushed every other song released this decade besides that cardi song

Capruni Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Wow that’s a great week for David, Bebe & Rihanna! Wish “Lift Me Up” & “I’m good” could reach at least one week at #1 after christmas season!
Finkypop Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 The effortless smashing of Taylor. She can’t lose

family.guy123 Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Not realistic but at the gap of 14,000 it would take bad bunny 164 weeks to surpass Dangerous I believe. I think it’s the best selling of the decade now. Who else is close? Maybe Midnights.
Holiest Dreams Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 I assume Made You Look will take longer to catch on in the US than it is globally, but I think it’ll be a top 10 hit for her sometime in early 2023.
Green Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Made you look top 40 The Weeknd almost top 10

DemDam92 Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Perfect, Taylor holding for another week and then Mariah overtakes.

DemDam92 Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 If everything goes well, Mariah should get her record for most weeks #1 with a song by 2026 back. Heheheheheheeh
IBeMe Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 So a 5th week at #1 is basically secured for Taylor. A 6th is also possible with a bit of a push. After that it's obviously Mariah's for the taking.

They have both captured their respective demographics (southern whites and Latino-Americans) unlike anything else. They're both MEGASTAR phenomenons/MJ level teas within those respective demographics. What's very interesting is that outside of them they make relatively little noise. No songs from either project have crossed over into becoming pop radio hits. While they've both received a lot of mainstream press coverage (Bad Bunny for his success, Morgan for racism scandal) their success is mostly limited to those two demographic groups who are the core of their audience. Although I think BB has more crossover appeal.

The problem with Pop radio and Bad Bunny is mostly the language, they hardly embrace fully Spanish songs, and I get it, but it surprises me how "MAMIII", for example, did better than any BB single this era. It's a little disappointing since "Dákiti" received cute support. Regarding Morgan, he has scored at least a Top 20 Pop hit with "Wasted on You". The song is one of the longest running hits this decade and still charting, hardly coming entirely from country core base. Problem as usual is his sound, Pop radio gets very hesitant when it comes to pick up country songs, always.
