Same. I've been on this site for 10 years. It's not enjoyable now since they took away everything almost. (NHB and SYG)

As stubborn as they can be, at least they don’t push for extermination for groups of people based on immutable characteristics that cause no harm to anyone :cm: But you’re right sis, being stubborn is so much worse.

I used to be so outgoing/friendly til college.

Terrible loud music in at parties/clubs. I have always been very particular about what music I can tolerate at loud volumes, but the older I get the more exhausted I get by bad music.

Alcohol/drugs - I used to drink, tried a couple of other things and was very open minded about drugs, but it does not appeal to me anymore. I've been completely sober for a year now and have no desire to drink or try anything, I'm happy as I am.

People. I'm still friendly but I hate having to socialise with people I wouldn't be friends with if we weren't stuck in the same place - for example work. I know I'm seen as antisocial/weird at the office but idc, just let me listen to my music, do my work and go home.

Intolerant people or those against progression when it doesn't even really affect them.

Never liked them, but I've met people around my age like this and there's always an element of fake in the conversation. It's hard to describe but you'll know it when you meet it, lol.

I know it's usually because the people are spoiled, ignorant or unwell (bad parenting, bad healthcare), but everyone around them is always on edge.

A few...

1. I can't stand flakey people. Stop saying we'll hang out and months past and it's never happened. I don't have time to be messed around.

2. Snowflakes - there's young people who get offended at everything. You can't even tell a joke and they'll assume you hate and despise a whole group based on one joke.

3. Privilege - everyone has problems but please don't compare yourself to me. I work with people whose only problem is not having much money. They don't realise how popular, confident, attractive and socially-normal they are. Not only am I poor but I literally struggle being Gay and forever single with no gay male friends. This includes being Autistic and struggling socially, having ADHD that distracts me from writing and having anxiety that stops me from going out and triggers my IBS.
