Redstreak Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 I’m going to see it this week, I’m so glad it’s a success financially because that’s what’s gonna convince Nintendo to make more movies and we need that Smash Bros movie down the line
Zoomer Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Congratulations CHRIS PRATT!!!! They were praying on your downfall, they really thought

The less than 40% is comparing last Saturdays numbers to yesterday's not the whole weekend. Besides that point, this is incredible. Some people were expecting and 60% drop and it was viewed as good. These numbers ( it'll probably finish at 90 when the actual come in tomorrow) are amazing. Great job to everyone invovled.
babyforlife Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Deserved. Peaches is a bop It’s stuck on my mind lol
Baltie Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 The haters and critics really lost with this one. The power that Nintendo holds
Gossip_Boy Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Chris Pratt has one hell of an agent honestly. The male Zoe Saldana, just less talented, beautiful and slayful. I’m starting to think the Garfield movie might actually end up being good.

If it breaks out there, it has a shot. Otherwise it's unlikely. Let's face it...this is going to blow up in Japan. No other way around it.

dabunique Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 my 8 year old self is losing it at how big this movie has become
Shawn Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 It actually turned out slightly higher than the guy mentioned. $92.45M second domestic weekend (Top Gun Maverick was $90M). An insane -36.8% drop following Easter weekend. Deadline: MONDAY AM: The cash keeps flowing through the pipes for Illumination/Universal’s Super Mario Bros Movie which had a better Sunday than expected with $30.5M, sending its second weekend to an awesome $92.45M. That’s still a record second frame for an animated movie, but also the 7th highest second weekend of all-time at the domestic box office. The pic’s running total stands at $353.2M. 3 hours ago, Rence said: Wtf
