It's got a big lead and has another version at 15 edit: maybe not this week cos it's only been top for 2 days, but next week maybe The sales effect will be split in 2 weeks so probably not. But Top 5 for sure.

Brando Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Just watched the video for the first time (didn't know it was a single), so creepy after what happened
Starkboy Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 combined: 1. One Last Time 1.0000 2. Despacito 0.5895 3. Strip That Down 0.1875 4. Mama 0.1504 It would have jumped top5 this week without streaming. With streaming I think this will be top20 and so repeak.
Sazare Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 Such an odd song to latch onto in the wake of this It's not really fitting in any way

Ignoring the context, the song is quite fitting. Also, the video is trending again, because the video shows Ariana wanting to spend time with her lover alone, before they die. So there's that.
Cas Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 I also think that the song fits perfectly the aftermath of the tragedy. I never associated the song with sex anyway.

The song is rife with lyrics like that. I mean I'm not being critical; if the song offers some comfort to the people of the UK then that's great. It's just...not the song I'd expect to resonate at a time like this. Edited May 25, 2017 by Sazare
Sanni Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 Just listened to the song again and tears litreally rolled down my eyes
Alfred Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 That song's meaning is eerily transformed because of that tragedy... I can't imagine her singing it live the same ever again. :(

lousaysthings Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 #1 AND #10 on iTunes and #49 on Spotify, just imagine if radios start spinning it like it's a new single

We're talking about numbers, the tragedy is SAD and UNFORTUNATE but the fact it's having an effect on iTunes doesn't have to be ignored because of the circumstances. Edited May 26, 2017 by Squall
