period sis Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 I really dont understand the logic of Cuff It being sent to big playlists but still choosing Church Girl to be the radio single

She didn't wanna send two pop songs back to back, it's extremely disrespectful to the radio formats tbh. She's smart for sending Cuff It to pop and rythmic while urban gets the twerk song of the album. Genius tbh

Cuff It can work on any format. Edited September 24, 2022 by QueenBeyoncé

I think it went viral and the playlists' editorials added it to their playlists. I could be wrong though. It's also progressing organically on TTH, something even AS hasn't managed to do yet. Anyway I think they'll send it to radio eventually. Edited September 24, 2022 by BnPac

Genius tbh "CUFF IT" hasn't been sent to any format and "CHURCH GIRL" has been sent to Rhythmic, not Urban.

It's still DANCE POP music compared to the trap'b sound that's dominating. BMS sticks out like a sore thumb on Urban played next to Jimmy Crooks, Mind Yo Business, Me Or Sumn. It's technically a POP song and there's nothing wrong with that. 30 minutes ago, Shelter said: Haven’t seen anywhere say it’s sent to pop. I think that's obviously coming.
BGKC Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 Cuff It has so much crossover appeal. It reminds me of September by Earth Wind and Fire a bit. It should be sent to Urban, Pop, and Adult Contemporary.

No, technically it’s not Pop music, it’s House. House music is Black music created out of Chicago. Edited September 24, 2022 by QueenBeyoncé
Bacardo Royale Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 This was my favorite from first listen, knew it was gonna smash at some point

Lose My Breath Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 cuff it being house? It’s like funk/pop/rnb
Machete Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 So Parkwood has seen the success this song has, made a corny bio change, but it's still crickets on sending this obvious smash to US radio?

ToraeGilt Posted September 24, 2022 Posted September 24, 2022 I remember BMS getting a lot of spins and audience gains before being officially sent to radio like a week before so let’s hope it’s the same for Cuff it. Bey is not foolish enough to go through with church girl after seeing what’s happening with Cuff it.
