hausofdave Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 officially the longest running top 10 album in the Nielson era, probably will end up the album of the decade as well

pride4jc1222 Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Dangerous is a huge album, but it passing two of the biggest albums of all-time, in 21 and Born in the USA, feels a little wrong.
americanlife Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Morgan benefitted from having a double album and a weak music market. Adele had to SELL those albums. She was giving 90s peak of CDs sales in 2011!

Charts shouldn't be used as much as they do, to represent success of a project lol this is yet another proof for that

LustSpell Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Charting wise, we definitely need new charts for streaming records. This album passing 21 and like ******* Sour passing The Fame for most amount of weeks in the top 10 is completely wrong. They have much less impact and importance than the albums they surpassed

Nothing wrong here. This album is going to be certificated diamond in like 3-5 years. It has sold about 5 million now and still steadily sells 50K each week without any sign of decline Edited September 4, 2022 by Monster Queen
FightForTanas Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 They really said, us Racists wont go down without a fight.

Coping mechanisms. congrats to Morgan. I don't know why more artists don't put out double albums in the streaming era

Dangerous is about to join the list as well. Edited September 4, 2022 by pride4jc1222

I don't know why it's a big deal that she lost this record. 1 hour ago, pride4jc1222 said: Dangerous is a huge album, but it passing two of the biggest albums of all-time, in 21 and Born in the USA, feels a little wrong. This is what happens when you double count singles and albums with streams. instead of just allowing them to count for one or the other they count for both.

True...the streaming formula has made it possible for rankings to change like this. Now it's come back to bite
Taylena Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 I hate him but it is what it is! ATRL users like being skeptical about the legitimacy of the charts in the streaming era but it's just as an excuse because their faves can't chart anymore. Never change ATRL.
family.guy123 Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Some angry users in here. Get some sun y’all. The better album won
