If you use Apple Music, it gives you a comprehensive list of what you’re signing over to them before you approve of it. I did pre-save this but reluctantly, some of those terms were whack. You give permission to edit your playlists and profile etc. ---- Anyway the song is an absolute BOP we been knew. Kimberly slayed it yet again. It's a shame it has to have a tiktok hook lmao, it's a perfect slick pop song.

One of the major benchmarks and appeal of Kim's music has always been her vocal prowess, tone, and girly personality. And Dr. Luke's polished, layered vocal production. Her best songs have harmonies, adlibs, background vocals, high notes, vocoder, layered background vocals, and of course her signature Woo-Ah! All of these elements are gone on IJWAR. They watered her way down. On its own, it's a cute song but the core fanbase isn't looking for "cute" music. We were never yearning for a stripped back guitar-driven track from Kim. Leave that to Halsey. Kim is known for bombastic unapologetic pop. Campy, bubblegum, dark and suggestive. Not to be dramatic, but my heart hurts with this single release. This is what we've been waiting for. For 9 months since Sl*t Pop this is the result of her studio sessions. Max Martin did this? 4 hours ago, dangerousalex said: this song is so boring and devoid of any personality that made kim petras who she is today. Her label did Kim so so dirty trying to market her to the mainstream and alienating her core fanbase. This song is lazy beyond belief. It's a nice catchy melody, sure. But it's way too short and her vocals just sound weakened. Like Wendy Goldstein was staring at her through the studio soundboard glass window making threatening gestures to keep singing, Luke in a corner whimpering having to watch it all go down without his genius touch. I will be streaming tomorrow but this is easily Kim's weakest lead single. It could've been fine as an album track but only that. See y'all in 3 months when the next single starts getting teased.
RedCarpet Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I like it, but I wish it had more power, it's kinda underwhelming
Lady Claire Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 K now it's time to call David Guetta/Tiesto/Joel Corry/any other DJ for that generic bop which it'll become a quick hit and she'll add on the album to inflate streams Btw speaking of album i don't think it's coming anytime soon so expect lots of singles and collabs coming throughout 2023

Yea I was about to be a good fan and pre-save, but it was asking for too much log in information. I did call that phone number and it played the worst quality snippet ever recorded and then it texted me right after
#Beautiful Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 i really hope she gets dropped so we can return to good pop music from her

The song is a perfect, catchy bop that the GP might love. As a fan I love it - stop expecting the same thing over and over from artists, it's like Marina stans wanting Electra Heart over and over like I get it she did brilliance - but it's done! Kim is a songwriter and an artist, not some factory line robot printing out different versions of the same thing forever.
shinri Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 I love it but I wish last chorus could've been big and not just what we've heard at the intro but with extra hits I fear another album is 'bout to be scrapped
BonniemcChicken Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 the song sounds really lonely to me. she sounds really sad.

Tistotal Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Is her first song to get a push on Spotify? she looks amazing! can't wait to listen to it

Carlitos Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 The song is just okay, I agree that she sounds kinda flat tbh
Abracadabra Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 It's cute, but the song title had me hoping this would be her "God is a DJ"
lillavend3r Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Generic and bland, I loved it Although I agree with the ones saying she sounds flat, her vocals seem so restrained. Her 18 second verse on Unholy had more life than this.
Dragonfly Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 The verses are a little weird Give us Problematiqué instead
Polgg48 Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 after repeat for 5-6 times, i say production is really good for christian song, it's certain type of comfort song for her to represent and show confident inside that she's happy to perform this song on tour in the future. however, this is like statement song before album like 'future start now' again that concept album going to be like that when you can just release 'coconut' of the era like people dont have patience for that, girl. it's make sense when kim on independent but no way on major label, i dont know let's see...
ryoncé Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 why is literally worse than like all of Problematique and that was scrapped? literally makes ZERO sense
