Would be iconic if Taylor presents the AOTY as the most awarded artist in the category before Adele ties her.

With Grammy voters seemingly unable to properly discern between ROTY and SOTY time and time again, rewarding big songs with uninspired writing. This. Taylor has 3 big win with AOTY, all deserved expect maybe for fearless (they choose the less mainstream album in a lot of mainstrem pop music that year. so i guess she win for that) cause she always makes big album releases, big concept album and so on so it's the kind of perfect win win situation for them to give her an award.

But it's not like she has wo so much important things out of there, especially post 2014 (1989 won 2 grammys and folklore just one).

 

I just read a prediction from Pitchfork and they wrote she's gonna win best country song. Lol imagine thinking she's gonna win a crucial country award in 2023

That year was an exception due to COVID. They picked a representative of the indie music stores association in America to declare the winner as a symbolic act to promote independent music stores (they aired a promo clip just before revealing the winner)

 

And last year, the presenter was Lenny Kravitz.

I don't really get the rain complaints tbh, it's very nitpicky . I'm so hyped, literally can't wait. RE4 is such a classic (except that island/ Krauser part, hopefully they fixed that.)

I'm happy Taylor has 3 aoty awards (all very deserved) but the Grammy's are such a sham . I can't take an award voted by people who can't differentiate between SOTY and ROTY and who don't even know what the POP Vocal album award is for seriously.

She really not a Grammy darling like other said. Its just her 3 AOTY have undeniable narrative but outside of that her Grammy history is not as good for a Grammy darling. Red doesnt win anything, Folklore only won 1 despite having like 6 nominations....

ATW10 really needs to win SOTY this time. It’s more than well-deserved.

 I agree. She’s long overdue for a SOTY win, and even if ATW isn’t my personal favorite Taylor song ever, it’s objectively considered her magnum opus by nearly everyone. It would be a fitting win for her.

There was absolutely no way she was attending for Rep and Evermore, though. Obviously she was quite hurt about the lack of nominations for Rep, and Evermore was coming off another AOTY win + Evermore was in general treated like an extension of Folklore (especially when it came to critics, Grammys, etc.). She was probably just pleased Evermore (barely ) squeaked out a nomination. 
 

I will say I was a little surprised she didn’t attend for Lover, simply because the song was nominated for SOTY, which she seemed quite proud of (she even said something on Jimmy Fallon). Plus, with her having somewhat extensive promo (for her standards post 1989, at least) for Lover, it wasn’t that far fetched to assume she’d end it with at least a Grammy appearance given her SOTY nomination.

I kind of do wish for ATW10 because it would be cute to see the glow up from the last time she performed ATW there (though maybe that would invite controversy over why she's even being considered again)

Can we all just take a second and fathom that 3 hours after dropping a new album we got deluxe tracks that CLEARED the whole og tracklist?? We are so FED, and yet we’re still starving for SNTV

I don’t know. The way they kind of ruined RE2make (2nd run is an INSULT to the original, despite the quality of the base game) and R3make (I don’t even need to explain that one), I just have no confidence. I want another REmake level of elevation, but I am certain that they are either going to play it too safe (which is the way it’s leaning right now), or be too concerned with budget that they cut stuff they will excuse as “the fat”. I have been much more impressed with Biohazard and Village than I’ve been with the recent remakes. Maybe I’m just a bitter old lady though. Speaking of all this, we need an RE base. I should make one

The way those red vinyl of redtv are gonna sell out. They stocked a little over 2k and there's barely 300 left in just a few hours. 

 

I think republic needs to take note to properly stock her releases from here on out cause if redtv is still selling this strong.
