I personally enjoy ATW more than these songs but I totally see why cardigan or Blank Space would have been more worthy winners of SOTY. Not YBWM though. ATW10 might not be the best but its quite the essential Swiftian of her songwriting. Fountain pen is what make her music relate to so many people. Black Space is glittery gel pen excellent Cardigan is quill pen excellent They can be arguably better than ATW10 but they are not as Swiftian Fountain pen

ATW is probably gonna win best video, and with her aspirations as a director, she’ll want photos for the press of her on the red carpet with a Grammy in her hand for a solo-directed video.

The fact you need to be guaranteed to win for even attending is too much lol No one between adele, bey and taylor is performing so cleary they are not feeling or have been guaranted they're gonna win something. I honestly don't think Taylor is attending if she believes she is not winning anything. She didn't attend for Reputation, Lover and Evermore.

If they would have tell her we're gonna give the award for the pop album in the main stage she probably would have been there. Lover got 0 chances to win too and she was "upset" cause both rep and lover were snubbed as AOTY. Now she came from an AOTY win and a nomination for evermore, so i don't think her relationships with the producers are so broken. She will attend cause she hopes also for some big win next year. With a less than 25% win rate for her nominations, I think it is easy to say she’s not the Grammy “darling” that a lot of publications make her out to be. With Grammy voters seemingly unable to properly discern between ROTY and SOTY time and time again, rewarding big songs with uninspired writing. If Taylor loses again like I think she will, I see her having a great shot at SOTY next year with Anti-Hero. The combination of her never being rewarded with SOTY, it being a big hit, and it being a well written song seem like a winning combo

I don't think someone nominated in the main categories could present an award the same night. Also AOTY is always presented by classic names. This year I guess the First Lady will present it.
