But it seems pretty clear to me that the people in this thread would be making the same comments even if they didn't have the 'excuse' of the monkeypox health crisis to justify their judgment. Is it really so big a deal if someone has more sexual partners than you think they should? To me it seems just as ridiculous as if the people in the 'I only masturbate once a week' camp started yelling at the people in the 'I masturbate twice a day' camp for being sick, disgusting, mentally ill perverts. At least seeing the full thought process makes it clear that 1) he was actually thinking about/ worrying about monkeypox and trying to keep updated on it and make (what he thought was) educated decisions with what to do with his body 2) he wasn’t careless enough to go and have sex w other ppl and spread it after he started exhibiting symptoms and 3) shows some small form of remorse or regret at the end, while still acknowledging that we can’t police others’ sex lives but doing a small part to share his experience and warn others to be careful to me that’s a better narrative than the short snippets in the OP Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When a disease breaks out that is spread through sexual behavior, it’s our responsibility to avoid spreading it while an action plan is made. Becoming a human urinal is not the way. No one’s saying don’t have sex, but it’s probably best to have a modicum of self control for once. If you aren’t guzzling gallons of hot piss at your local weekend orgy, chances are you aren’t going to wake up with oozing lesions cracking outside of your hole.
