oh this is such a great start to the round... and you can DANCE! yes madonna thank you, i will be dancing. it's such a cute, groovy song and i rlly enjoy it! it's fun and it makes me bop my head along. very nice!

this classic bop  however comma i feel like i used to enjoy this a lot more now i just bop my head and like mhmm this is a bop but i also feel like it's okay?? like it didn't impact me as much as in the past  also, took a bit too long to start

omg it's the cover... woah. i have never heard this before but i do love the original so much. this is great as well, even though the original kinda stomped on it. i like this! the chorus' production feels a bit weird but that's all, enjoyed it!

OH OH OH, serve ALERT!!! i've been a fan of this since the first time i heard this album. both in and out of the context of the album, this sounds so great to me and oh wow it rlly gets me pumped up, excited.

this started off quite well and i was rlly excited about it but then, it kinda didn't go anywhere so i'm just nodding and like hmm.. but still, it's a good track that keeps you pumped for sure!

it's fun but the thing is.... i tried to like this but i just can't bring myself to like it idk why  like yea, it's a cute pop song but there's something about it that i kinda don't rlly vibe w it that much, i'm sorry

now this... hmm i prefer into the groove to this tbh. this one is not bad but just like commander, i just feel kinda weird about it? it's fun tho i gotta give you that. i think the robotic/futuristic feels kinda puts me off, maybe that's why.

whew, this is the one i can get behind!! i didn't like it at first when it was released. then it hit me and i found myself bop along to it a lot and it's become a track that i like from her! makes me wanna dance, woooo!

yea this is far from her best song but it's such a bop. the vibes tho are not really particular what i think of when i read the theme? so yea that's a bit off and i don't think it lyrically fits the theme much. and it's more of like sex sex mhmm

a classic for sure but i don't really feel anything listening to it. yea, it's a big bop and it's great for this round. but i just feel like yea.. this is okay, not bad but not rlly super amazing. so probs around middle of the road for me.

BIG SERVEEEEEE! this actually makes me feel excited and it's such a great song omg. like the chorus hits hard and combined with everything, the lyrics, the vocals, omg..... a hot girl workout serve tbh!!

sounds like i'm in a video game! i didn't expect to like this at all but i did like it a lot. like it makes me feel happy and it makes me wanna dance, so that's totally a serve from miss rosalia. exactly meme queen.

lyrically, this is like 100% a fit for this round. sonically, it's a bit more on a chill side but i feel like it isn't like far off the road? like, you can def workout to this and when it comes on when ur at a gym, you would probs exercise to it!!!!! cute bop.

it's a bop, sure but i don't know how to feel about this song as a whole. it's never a favorite from this ep for me and yea i just :/ about it!

ahhhh what a slay! another great track in this round tbh. one of the best kpop songs released this year??? it's great and the chorus makes this even more better. like just how it sets the song to the chorus, whew, great song.

ooh i really like this. i think it's my favorite out of those songs that i hadn't heard before. giving me throwback vibes and kinda is a great chill bop. the chorus is so addictive, woahhh. yea i enjoyed it.

ah this is fine. i don't rlly like it that much compared to other songs in this round. it's just okay for me.

i actually forgot how much of a bop this is. and its become a better bop as the song goes on, her power. this song is such a great classic even though it feels a bit dated now (ofc), it stills sounds great.

yea i think the build up to where it kinda gets more dancey is a bit too long. i like it but i think it's a bit of a weak fit to this round. i mean i can see how it fits but others are stronger

Interesting choice! I love Janelle's ability to build a universe in her songs. This one is a bit forgettable perhaps compared to some in this playlist, but it's cool.

Salt N Peppa - Push It: Another classic that I don't play often. I more appecriate it. 

 

Girls Aloud - Jump: Never heard this cover before but it wasn't bad. 

 

Janelle Monae - Dance or Die: This was always one of my faves from her. It does sound better in the album context but that isn't going to take away much from here. 

 

Ciara - Get Up: Really good and gets people moving.

 

Kelly Rowland - Commander: Not a fan of this as her R&B songs suits her way more. The vocal processing in the chorus doesn't work and Guetta had more potential with the production. 

 

Madonna - Music: Never cared for this song tbhh. ITG is way better/more effective to me. 

 

Carly Rae Jepsen - I Didn't Just Come Here To Dance: This should've been sent for the house round but it works here too IG. One of my faves from Emotion actually. 

 

Shygirl - Slime: I can see the production getting someone to move (which is the best element of this song).

Chloe - Treat Me: The delivery of this song has always been a little grating (and context wise it's a stretch). 

 

Rosalia - Despecha: Washes Motomami. Always enjoyed her standalone singles more than her album stuff. 

 

Victoria Monet - Ass Like That: The vibe here is way too slow for what I was looking for. Unfortunately it's a miss.

Yeah that intro is so unnecessary, even annoying. There’s something about this production that is extremely cheap sounding. I get that it was a stylistic choice but I’m not into it, or the song as a whole ?

Possibly my favorite song of hers that I’ve heard in this game! It has a lot of attitude and it’s very fun!

Love the ringtone like instrumental, very 2000s. She had the hits. I’ve never heard this one before but her songs just feel like classics. This and Goodies were amazing discoveries. The pizzicato in this is so smart and addictive. The feature is also a great addition imo
