Lol why does it seems everytime I want to be quick with number updates, they always end up turning for the worst afterward... Anyways Friday looking like $38M. Lower than what was being projected yesterday. Still fine and well on track for $100-110M 3day and $125-130M+ 4-day.

The ad campaign for this was just awful. If anything, this is way more colorful and vibrant than the animated version...I still find the shadowing in the original is quite distracting. 

 

Pretty shocked they decided the dull, darker parts of the film were better for the trailer.

I'm seeing it for the second time today! I'm really excited and can't wait.

Maybe it's the voice acting but I liked Triton and Scuttle more than Ursula... I think her acting was rough sometimes but overall it's good.

They went with an authentic look and feel for everything. Look at sebastian, flounder for example. Everything looks like it does in our world. And I guess they wanted her to rather have "Authentic" (bet theres a better word in english) red hair than the stylized tomato-red.

The OG red is iconic and I know we all fell in love with it but I'm happy they went with the realistic look.
