beyoncé stays kind and humble...her arrogance is relegated to braggadocio rap tracks in which case it's part of the assignment.

 

her "arrogance" is nothing more than a perception used to confirm someone's dislike for her.

 

in Azealia's writeup and spoken monologue posted, her issue seems to be cerntred around what an insider told Metro UK article (so: a rumour) about her being part of the inspiration, but even if taken to be true, is inspiration an act of arrogance? are you meant to ask those you are inspired by if it is okay if you are inspired by them? Is going out of your way to credit a work that you're not actually sampling an act of arrogance? Azealia seems to presume that Robin S. has legal rights over her song and how it should be used, when Robin S. neither wrote the track, nor remixed it to include the iconic synth that BREAK MY SOUL references. And still she sent her flowers and a note thanking her for the inspiration. Arrogance would be something like not acknowlegding her whatsoever, but even then that would be an assumption.
